I'm a good example of "everything in moderation".

This was the first time since Christmas that I've gone more than a day off plan. I think I would have been fine if it hadn't been pizza and pasta.
Pizza and pasta (and bread and cheese!) would be the first things on my list to have too so I totally get what you are going through. I am still in the "locked and hiding" mode. Last weekend was the first time I went to dinner with my husband and friends but I ate before we left and I only had sparkling water. At first I thought it would be totally awkward but my friends knew beforehand plus my husband knew what the plan was. I don't want to live like this forever but right now, it feels safe. I hope your yucky feeling passes very soon.

My cheat days are never planned, which is bad, I haven't had a great on plan day in quite awhile - maybe a week. So every day has been a cheat day! I've been dealing with personal things, which are only made worse by failing with my weight, so I feel more discouraged and it's a viscous cycle. Once I get on plan though I hate to cheat - it's hard though, all my social outtings revolve around food and drinks. My husband loves to go out. I would do much better if I could just be a shut in with no relationships. When I'm doing great on plan, I actually have a panic attack at the thought of going out with friends and being "forced" to eat bad foods. I dread it. It's just so weird and awkward to go out and not eat or get a drink though, I guess I am a slave to conformity.

All these people I go out with are thin and could eat anything while looking great.

Been there and done that and no you wouldn't.

I have the same pressures when I go out. The truth is that nobody notices if you eat and drink less. I have eaten nothing at all and no-one blinked an eyelid. Just don't mention it.

I am a calorie tracker so the sugar thing is a little simpler. I like to eat and it's hard to spend calories on things high in wheat/sugar because I run out of calories before I'm full.

If I go off plan I just try to get back on plan as soon as possible and not worry about it. If I "only" lose 20lbs this year it's infinitely better than losing none or gaining like usual.

As for going out, I stick with water and get LOTS of water in while with friends. No one notices/cares. I usually save enough calories that I can get something to eat and might go over my low but still stay under my high. (I shoot for a range of 1450-2000 calories a day so if I hit 1700 because I went out it's not even off plan for me.

I always aim for 1400ish but don't bat an eye unless it's over 2k. The flexibility helps me stay within reason most of the time.

So I am relatively new to this site and just stumbled on this thread tonight! I have been on this site and my current weight loss journey for 5 days and the encouragement and support I have felt from everyone here is amazing and overwhelming at times! My official weigh in day is Sunday but I do weigh every single day! While my current weight is 311 about a year ago I was flirting with 330! I am so glad to be a part of this group! I HAVE to lose the weight this time. I know I can and that we all can! Together!

Ok ladies! It's almost April - lets make a good push this month!!

A few of us are hoping to make the next decade during April - I'm one of them. Who else thinks they can make the 290's in April?

If you've got a ways to go no worries, we need some folks to keep this thread going and before you know it, you'll be there too!!
