Weight Loss Books...or other Must Read Books

My kindle is asking for a new book and I would love to read a good inspiration/motivation/or weight loss book.

What are your recommendations?

Batou 02-06-2013 09:49 AM

There is an older thread that I came across the other day were people listed waste loss books...but apparently I can't post links until I get a certain post? Google "Books that have helped motivate you or helped you lose weight" and it will be the first result.

Thanks, Batou! http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/main...se-weight.html
This one?
Maybe people can add some books that have come out since 2009, as well.

GITS fan?

It isnt post 2009 though. A friend of mine ask mentioned some good Podcasts but I cant seem to find where I put that list. Hmm..

You're welcome Lunar. And yes, I am a huge GITS fan. No matter how many times I watch the show or movies I want to watch them again within 1-2 weeks.

I am always looking for something new and educational to read. These are the books currently stacked on my night stand.

SmallSteps- Do you also find that more knowledge you have- the more you feel equipped never to turn back?

I downloaded Thin for Life on my kindle.

Thin for Life, Beck Diet Solution, Think Thin, Be Thin are all books I think are inspiring.

I find that the more knowledge I have the easier it is to keep the weight off. I am losing at a very slow pace but I am also keeping it off when I lose it. In the past I would lose a lot of weight very quickly then gain it all back and then some. I am through with that FOREVER!

Here is a thread from a while ago....like 3.5 years ago. But there is A LOT of good stuff in it!

I've read a number of them but Four Day Win by Martha Beck is my go-to for inspiration. She really deals with making changes in your life, and making them STICK! It's a lot of mental exercises that help no matter what eating plan you're following.
