Welcome! I've got 3 tiny terrorists too, 7, almost 8 and 9 months. It can be challenging, finding that time for yourself and not just making quick meals that you know the kids will eat, but it can be done! GL on your journey mama!

Have you decided on a "plan of attack" yet? For me, I know having a good plan helps, so I hope you browse the different forums and find the plan that seems most workable to you. I calorie count and zig zag my calories with the use of fitday.com, it takes a bout 10 minutes in the evening after kiddos are in bed to sit down and plan the next days menu, but then I log it all into fitday and my menu is set. Takes the guesswork out of standing in front of the fridge, skimming the shelves when I'm hungry and a kiddo is needing my attention and trying to make a healthy decision.

Ask all the questions you want, there are no stupid questions, this is seriously the best group of women around who'll support you and cheer you on everyday!

Thanks so much guys! You have all been so welcoming!

Angihas2, my kids are 2, 4, and 6, so we are in the same boat! And I don't have a plan of attack just yet. I decided tomorrow is the day that I am gonna wake up, finally force myself to go to the gym and promise not to eat anymore crap. I have done weight watchers about a billion times, so I am probably going to go back to counting points again.

All I know is that I am turning 30 this year and I have never been this heavy in my life. I need to get my butt in gear!

Welcome!! This is by far, hands down, the BEST board I've found for support for those of us with so much to lose. I've been around forever (more or less active depending on mood), and have learned SO much! I think you'll find a lot of wonderful support and encouragement. Post early; post often!

You'll definitely find the support. Best thing I ever did for myself was to make it a rule of my weight loss plan to check in with this group every day! There's also a support group for binge eating that is very helpful and you may want to check it out. Good luck.

I have regained a bit of weight and am around your starting point now--Trying to get back on track. It was fairly easy the first time around but it sure seems impossible to get back into those good habits!

The advice about checking in everyday really DOES help!
