What great losses this week! Congratulations. Unfortunately I'm not in the losing category this week. Up 2.6 from last week, 1.4 of that since yesterday. Can you spell "water"? (I hope.) But I've noticed that once I've seen a "new low" I usually get back to it shortly but do I ever hate this yo-yoing.
I had a really nice loss this week -- four pounds I actually managed to get in a 15 - 20 minutes walk every day this past week (extra exercise). I think that's what helped the most, although I did start drinking green tea too (I read that it was good for the metabolism). Looks like a lot of great losses this week -- congrats, everyone!
Jenelle - I actually drink it both ways. Kroger had a gallon jug of Arizona Diet Green Tea on sale, so I got it and I drink a glass of that with lunch. Then, for supper, I brew a hot cup of green tea (decaf mandarin, I think . . . I just got it because I thought the Panda sleeping in the orange grove was cute ). I like it both ways.
I will say though that every piece of clothing I'm wearing right now (except my undies) does not fit me. The band of my bra needs to be smaller. My shirt is sliding around my shoulders & my sweater is too big, too. I'm also afraid someone might pants me.
i'll have my first official weigh in in 2 weeks tomorrow-- at the beg. of April, I went to my gyn dr., and she told me to stop focusing on the scale weight b/c I'm in good health, size and fitness. Unofficially, I'm at 197 on my home scale, but (and this is a big but), i can fit into my high school graduation dress (except for my huge boobs, which didnt fit into it when I graduated!!), and I am fitting a 12 at the gap and ann taylor! (actually, i only tried on skirts and dresses for work & ...but still) i'm hoping to be a solid 12 by the end of the month. When i graduated, i think i was 170. Muscle weighs way more than fat!
everyone is doing so well!! congrats to the other lori---3 pounds a week is so exciting!! yay, ladies and gents! you guys inspire me every day.
I know what you mean about the boobs. I tried on a size XL at Old Navy today, but couldn't even button it. I can wear XL in some T-shirts, but just couldn't stuff 'em into that shirt. My perky 36B boobs are just a distant memory.
Jennelle--just watching portion sizes & making good choices 90% of the time. Just kicked up the exercising a notch recently. I know muscle ways more than fat, it's just frustrating.
I did join the gym today w/my best friend & her little girl. So hopefully I will be kicking butt & taking names soon enough in this weigh-in thread.
can we talk a little about how much i'd like to have EVER been a 36B! I was a 34D when I was in 9th grade!! And what I wouldn't give to be that size again!!
anyway, small successes to report: 1. I actually went to weight watchers for hte first time in 3 weeks. and 2. i am down to 196.0. so i'm going in the right direction!
