Exciting Stop on the Journey

  • Okay gang, I was reading an old journal from when I was in college, and I have now reached a weight lower than I was early in my senior year of college (5 years ago). I'm so super excited about that. Add to that I have not lost my motivation to do this yet, and I now truly believe that I am a "thin person waiting to happen". Not just waiting, working to happen I guess.

Mom took pictures this weekend to send to my sister. The top is an 18/20 and the bottoms are a 20, I was wearing 26/28's in January.
  • look at you, you tiny person!!! you're doing great, and you're so pretty!

    congratulations~
  • That is so great!! You have worked hard and been so consistent!! I am so proud of you! I kow you WILL do this!!!!
  • you look wonderful!!!

I am so happy for you!
  • Daners: I was admiring your color combo in your new avatar on another thread and now I get to see the whole outfit!

You look GREAT and very happy!
  • You look great! I really like that outfit -- it looks very "spring-y". I like your hair, too . . . didn't it used to be longer? Everyone is getting these cute short haircuts and testing my resolve to let my hair grow out
  • That's a great picture--you're very pretty. AND YOUR SIZE LOSS IS AMAZING!! congratulations, I know this must feel great!!
  • Way to go!!! You look great!
  • You look so cute! Does your sister know you've been losing? Is she going to be surprised?
  • My sister knows, but I haven't seen her in over a month. I had other things happening in the weeks before she moved and was in Aspen, CO on a ski trip the day she left. I used to tell her every week how I did, but I'm not going to anymore, so maybe she'll be surprised by the time I get to visit her in June.
  • What a wonderful picture! Congrats on your weight loss! Just keep on going -- one pound at a time -- and you will get there!!
  • You should be excited--that's wonderful! You look terrific. Way to go!
  • What an inspiration! Thanks!
