BeverlyJoy, what has worked for me in the past is to decide what I REALLY want and what I can skip. For me, that usually means turkey and stuffing, green beans, a bit of cranberry sauce and a slice of my favorite pie. That is a reasonable meal-- puts me a bit over calories for the one day, but not that much.
