+ Grateful for my mom who has been through this and wants to help me get healthy
+ Grateful that I get to spend the day with my sister and grandfather
+ Grateful that my grandfather is 90 and still healthy!
+ Grateful for getting to make Thanksgiving supper with my mom tomorrow (I'm in Canada)
+ It has stopped raining and the sun is shining!!
+ I have beautiful dogs who loooove going for walks

- we put up a few Halloween decorations outside. It's for the cutie pie kids in the neighborhood, really. fun!

- going to dinner at Murr's brother and sil's house. We promised his mom before she died that we would stay in touch.

- Alex has so many fun adventures with Meg's mom. It's a blessing.

+ a glorious cold but sunny day for Thanksgivng Sunday

+ a solid night of sleep has restored my mental equilibrium

+ very successful Mill Festival yesterday and the money balanced first try!

+ Disney's mouth infection seems cleared now and she's a happy dog once again

+ will see my grand daughter Tayler today at Jim's inlaw's TD dinner

+ a good driving day ahead - only 45 mins but not fun after dark

+ have time before I leave to clean out and inventory the fridge getting ready for a healthy week

+ new t-shirt with embellishments works well with turquoise jacket

+ many, many things to be thankful for today

This is officially Thanksgiving Day here in Canada so I need to list some of my gratitudes:

+ having fairly good health for an old lady

+ financial security which I created for myself

+ supportive friends and family

+ a comfy house with lots of good childhood memories in it

+ two well-behaved dogs who adore me

+ living in a beautiful part of this wonderful country

+ many, many other things which I think of as I go through my days!

Happy Thanksgiving, Ruth.

- actually had a nice time at family dinner with sil/bil. Our newphew and his lovely wife are expecting. So grateful she is feeling good.

- the children in the neighborhood - a huge blessing in my life

- it's going to be 'fallish' out this week.. my favorite time of the year

- done with paperwork for dh's company to put out bids for health insurance. Good grief it's detailed. Only one question I need to find out about

- GS talked to me on the phone last night - he's not much of a phone talker. I am so happy he did.

* had a good day at fall festival, spent it with mom n sisters.
* my daughter n the rest did awesome job in parade!
* i was able to walk all day saturday, wouldnt have been able to few months ago.

- LeighAnne came over for four hours and helped with the gardens. I am so grateful.

- DH has a photocopier within his printer. I just found out. It saved me a trip to the copyshop. yay

+ printer is now working so I was able to photocopy stuff for the auditor

+ made some progress on my horrorshow workload

+ a good night of sleep - woke twice but went back to sleep

+ Barb brought me a beautiful gourd - "just because"

+ yummy squash soup for supper - also from Barb - need the recipe

+ found several lengths of great fabrics - forest green silk and some burgundy Vyella - shall Igo back to sewing clothes?

+ Disney's dental surgery is today - will be glad to have that over

+ another cool but beautiful fall day is arriving - the leaves are glorious

+ Disney came through her surgery OK - I really was very concerned as she is an older dog and has some health problems

+ the big grant cheque for the Mill finally arrived!

- I am not 'running away' from 3fc even though I am not on plan very well - grateful for the willingness to be here. I am commited to doing my gratitudes here every morning - so I am still connected and that helps.
