Future Hi I'm still here, but I have only been updating my post. I have been struggling with my Angio Edema diagnosis. I have been trying to figure out the meds and what will work for me. I am still doing everything the same, but it's weird when your body can have a reaction for no apparent reason. Talk about throwing a monkey wrench in the program. I am still a work in progress and science experiment.
Diana, glad to hear from you, but sorry to hear you are still having issues. The only thing to do is to keep moving forward and trust in your doctors, eventually they'll get the right combination of meds and dosage to get things under control.
Ok so I'm at a stand-still, no gain but no loss either, just hovering around the 250 mark (+-2). Work has taken over my life these past couple of weeks, not good at all. But since Sunday, I have made a conscious CHOICE to put myself first once again. Just have to remind myself of this every single day.
Breakfast:
two slices of wheat bread
fat free yoplait yogurt
herbal tea total: 230 calories
lunch:
ham and cheese sandwich on wheat bread with light mayo
(extra veggies)
carrots
apple 583 calories
dinner:
tomato soup
bagel total: 505 calories
snack:
peach
cereal bar total: 199 calories
Cardiovascular:
45 minute run @ 9 minutes per mile
10 minute run @ 10 minutes per mile burn: 635 calories
NET TOTAL CALORIE: 882
i do realize i had many grainy foods today (so many carbs). but until the first of november i'll be under the roof of my mother's house and eating what she buys. and being an italian family, it's a lot of bread and pasta.
today's positives: i pulled through my running workout even though i was physically exhausted (i honestly have no clue why- i got over 10 hours of sleep last night!)
today's negatives: i grazed on a mini donut and three little fries.
today's negative wasn't as bad as the bags of popcorn and countless candy bars i binged on last week, but i would still love to work on getting out of the grazing habit!
