+ Peter and Ian are coming for coffee today and lunch tomorrow

+ a cool night for sleeping - no AC needed

+ dogs are being extremely cuddly after their week at the kennel

+ lots of red, orange and yellow cherry tomatoes and basil

+ Paul is finally taking vacation for a week

+ a manageable week ahead

- my neighbor, john, came over and fixed the leak under the sink. He said it was an easy fix. (Easy for him..LOL) I am grateful.

- Little Sam came over to water the veggie garden last night.

+ my internet connection is finally back again - it took four calls to tech service

+ fun lunch with my two male cousins - lots of laughs and memories of our childhoods

+ Natalie - who is working so hard at the Mill Office and makes my work a bit easier

+ Aunt Rose, my godmother, who is 100 today

+ rain in the forecast - so badly needed

+ Liz and Moel finally got a new car - I can stop worrying about the old clunker

+ all laundry is done and Donna comes to clean today

+ looking forward to the celebration and family lunch in Ottawa

- got lots of 'girl stuff' at the yard sale down the street. They have two little girls. I found Maya some silver glitter dance shoes & LOTS of things.

- a nice campfire with the neighbors last night. We needed to wear sweatshirts. Crazy weather!

- looking forward to seeing my sister

- DH has carple tunnel in his shoulder and they say some shots in the area will be sufficient to help him... no surgery. So grateful.

+ Casey, summer student worker, took down and sorted all the schoolwork for me

+ loving the gentle rain

+ young relatives coming this morning for their first visit to the ancestral home

+ I have cookies in the freezer for the above

+ accomplished a lot of accounting yesterday

+ fixed my poor porch flowerboxes with some silk geraniums

+ looking forward to visit from DD and her family in two weeks and feel quite organized

+ sore shoulders seem to have healed up

+ fall nesting is kicking in - nice to have baking in the freezer for company
