Unhappy Newbie and need support!

I was well on my road to my weight goal in Oct 2011 when all **** broke loose in my life. Im fighting the mental/emotional side of things right now trying to get back on track with the added 20 more lbs that I gained. ugh

Well I will say that I am a nutcase with 3 little ones under 2.5 yrs and have chronic pain and depression. I just started in may but found this site July 1st. It is really helping me to stay focused by doing the daily weigh in challenge.

Good luck to you and chin up!

Mazey1 take it one day at a time. I started with just trying to make healthier food choices then added a couple days of exercise. I'm surprised at how quickly it becomes routine.

Sonja, I can't even imagine 3 kids under age 3, and 5 total my hat is definitely off too you. I agree this site has been a blessing.

Every day gets easier once you get back on track. I know it's hard battling another wight gain but I would wager to say that most of us here in the 100lb club have been there or are currently there. This site has helped me a lot in the past. It even helped me reach my goal. I too have went back and gained but here I am again. Just don't give up.

Welcome back Maezy1! A lot of us have been in your shoes. Just try to get back on track by doing what was working for you before. That emotional eating monster is a tough one. I am still working on it too. No advice there, but welcome to the group.

You can totally do this. Just take one day at a time and one opportunity to make a good decision at a time. Stairs or lift? (Stairs) Fried or grilled? Second helping? A serving vs a full plate. Just start off that way. I calorie count because it allows me to eat anything. I also find exercise (even a walk) a good outlet for stress. Not for the love of nature or activity but for the satisfaction that when things are crazy, this is one good thing I can do for myself.
