Honestly, I'm hoping a maintainer chimes in with some real advice, because I'm in the same boat as you.

But I am giving it a new approach. I'm gonna try a "no-cheating-absolutely-on-plan-no-matter-what" approach.

I'm really dedicated to get them off, so I'll see if this trick works.

Yeah....I can't lie... I know I can do better...and have. I get my butt to the gym but don't push myself as much as I can. And I eat really well...but I also indulge at times. I know what works for me it's just doing it! It's been about three years this journey... maybe I'm scared to reach my goal...I know...crazy right??!!!

I guess you answered your own question. You know what to do. you just have to do it. You've been maintaining for all this time within 15 pounds or so. That's not such a bad thing. Maybe figure out how to keep that to just 5 pounds and call it maintenance. Once that stabilizes, go for those last 20 pounds like it's all you ever had to lose.

I think we get caught up in how well we've done without realizing it. There's nothing wrong with that. You have done an amazing job to lose 150 pounds. But that is the past. Try to think of things as starting today. Think of this as the beginning of a 20 pound loss rather than the end of a 170 pound loss (how amazing, though!) and maybe the "beginning of a diet" mentality will kick in. I certainly can't offer any advice on how to lose - you know how to do that. Just get back on plan 100% and realize this is what you have to do.
