Yesterday:
After I was done with work, I walked to the farmers' market and bought a bunch of fresh produce. Got about 5 lbs of potatoes, 2 lbs of peppers, 2 spaghetti squash, a pineapple, and carton of strawberries. I loaded it all into my backpack and walked farther still, to Walmart! I bought a 3 lb bag of flour, several bottled drinks, and a few cans of veggies.
Whew, that was quite a load to haul back home 3 miles.
I'm so proud of myself because I wouldn't have been able to carry all that just a couple months ago. I'm happy to see practical benefits from lifting weights for 2 months! Now I can haul a ridiculous amount of groceries on my back and arms for 3 miles!
