+ I'm grateful I remembered to start this thread

+ super Indian dinner with some friends last night - Great food and just hot enough

+ enjoyed the Wizard play

+ my dear cousin Cathie is coming for lunch today

+ although it's below freezing, it still feels like spring

+ no weight blip after meal last night

No matter how good or not so good our lives our going ... we always have things for which we are grateful. It puts life into perspective. It feels good to remember our gratitudes.

- even more garden work done

- I helped at Mimi's yesterday

- ankle feels some better today

- willingness to get on the scale

- I found my Mickey Mouse garden hat... I love that hat.

- saw some long time friends yesterday - nice

- talked to my sister yesterday

- the grill on the deck

+ ticker is finally being truthful

+ great, but short, visit with Cathie yesterday - I love my cousin

+ the Pypers are coming for dinner this Friday - haven't seen them since Christmas

+ sunshine and warmer weather is predicted for this week

+ it's a busy week but I am putting "me" time on the schedule

+ finally have dog evaluations done - just paperwork now

+ wore new olive green outfit to Church - a tad snug but it felt great

+ chatted with Donna last night - she seems in a good space although it was an anniversary of Ted's death

+ the "lads" are taking down that dead tree for me this week

- willingness to make it happen yesterday - so grateful

- Mom is feeling better

- heating pad and bag of frozen peas help my various pieces and parts

- fixed the anti virus and firewall issues with the computer - glad to be able to figure it out

- enjoying pretty pictures and things

- Little GS called yesterday and told his grandpa that the 'new baby was born.' DH acted so excited.. of course, then, GS said,'April fools' and giggled. So excited for my granddaughter to be born this month.

+ the "lads" are coming to do the tree today!

+ figured out a sugar-free dessert for tomorrow's lunch at the Clinic

+ Jazz dug another escape hole which was quickly found and plugged

+ I have two of my gorgeous quilts back for binding

+ I'm now the official "colour consultant" for the quilting group - that will settle some arguments

+ pansies are now available at the garden centre in Smiths Falls

+ busy day ahead but there will be "me" time before I start it

- willingness to try - so grateful for a healthy day

- ankle got sore gardening - willingness to take care of it and hault

- family coming this weekend - healthy dinner planned

- little children in the neighborhood are so joyful

- good coffee and good tea

- my sister sounded very upbeat and almost cheerful when I spoke to her

- every day is brand new.

- good doctor visit

- mom conistantly shows gratitude for things - at 87, she still is a good example in this

- accountant has finished the taxes - yay

+ cake turned out "OK" - Splenda baking is tricky

+ major car problems but I can afford a new one

+ I have a "loaner" - a 190 huge Oldsmobile wagon which is a fun drive

+ Wendy cleaned up the flower beds at the Church for me

+ nice chat with my brother David yesterday - he seldom calls

+ the dog yard seems secure - for now

+ my scillas are a mass of blue behind the barn

+ sunny but cold days - April weather without the showers

+ I feel safer now that the big dead elm is no longer looming over my house

- a new day full of promise

- things are falling into place for Paula - what a blessing

- taxes all done and filed

- soon there will be pink & purple in my world

- plant swap is coming together

- Nancy, Erika & Rachel coming here this weekend

+ found and "fixed" another escape route in the dog yard

+ cake was a huge hit with the clients at Pet Therapy

+ my friend Keith, a retired dealership owner, is searching out a car for me - I am grateful to avoid the hassle

+ the Pypers are coming for dinner tomorrow instead of Sunday! I am grateful to be able to shift gears in organizing.

+ Wendy is coming to work on the front gardens today

+ my neighbour's cat who thinks she is mine and makes me smile (She goes home for food, sleep and her litterbox!)

+ I am grateful to be physically and mentally able to cope with my busy life

* Job interview went great yesterday! Excited to return today to fill out paperwork and plan next week's work schedule.

* Looking forward to working hard at the gym today.

* Enjoyed a delicious breakfast this morning.

* Excited for the long weekend! I get an extra day to spend with my wonderful boyfriend. :)

* Very thankful for this thread. I've been feeling down lately and posting here and remembering all the little blessings in my life helps so much!

- Our good friend came through his surgery well. So grateful. DH went down and sat with his wife until it was over.

+ my peony rings arrived by Canada Post - great timing as the plants are peeking up

+ my scillas are a large puddle of blue under the cedars

+ Miss Lillian came through her surgery just fine and is staying at her son's place a while

+ found and fixed the problem with the Fair schoolwork info

+ found and cooked that missing beef heart to be ground and used to supplement doggy kibble

+ Church at ten which gives me time for a relaxing bath this morning

- watching the pure joy of some of the neighbor kids when they found the eggs DH and I put in their yards... we had on our 'Easter Bunny hats'. Fun!
