Excellent!!!

I'm a bit behind...soda free for about a month. I feel so much better. This weekend will be a challenge as I usually drink 3-4 of the SuperBigGulps when I roadtrip and I have to take my son down to his state finals (3 hours in the car each way).

AWESOME!!!
I've been soda free since September. It definitely gets easier.
I don't miss it at all really.

I don't miss it. I still reach for it in the refrigerator or order it at restaurants out of habit. *Then I slap myself in the head and order tea*

That's amazing. Every time I decide, alright, I'm gonna give up soda - and I'm not very into soda to begin with - I start wanting it more than ever. Go you!

Funny you should post this right now because I just bought a 6 pack of 24 oz caffeine free diet Coke in bottles because it was just $2.00. I figured I could have a little as a treat oncein a while and seal it back up. Well, it seemed so full of bubbles after months if no soda that I'm not sure if I'll ever finish it all! Funny how our tastes change.

Congrats to you. I have not had a soda since October 7th. It's so funny. I always get tea whenever I go out, and if I grab hubby's soda by mistake it tastes SOOOO bad to me now. If I can do it...anyone can. I have been a soda drinker since I was 16 and most days I drank about 3-32oz sodas(not diet.)

I don't miss it at all but it is a horrible habit, it is all I have drank since I was about 8 years old. I was up to a 12 pack a day habit for many many years. For me this is a BIG deal!! I still try to grab it out of habit but I do not want it and don't miss it at all.

Great Job SmallSteps, I'm kind of a Pepsi/Coke-aholic myself and have been slowly taking myself away from the stuff. So far it has been about two weeks since I have gotten one from anywhere. I haven't kept Cokes in my house for several months. When I go out I order a sweet tea half cut because it is usually too sweet for me. Last time I had a Coke or Pepsi I thought they were too sweet and couldn't finish it. I have noticed for me it makes it a bit easier to lose weight by staying away from it. Good Job!!!
