Looking For A New Scale
 

I currently have a digital scale, but it only reads in increments of .5 (250, 250.5, 251 etc.) I see here a lot of people have scales that show weight changes down to .1 change. I really would like to get a digital scale like this but when looking on-line or in stores there are so many different scales at so many price ranges. So what scales do you have or can any of you recommend a good scale. I am not looking to spend a huge amount of money but don't mind investing in something I will be using every day for a very very long time! :goodscale

I got an EatSmart on Amazon for about $35. It also measures body fat %, although I think it's way low. It weighs in .2 increments, is very thin and lightweight. I like it.

I got a healthOmeter from Walmart. Digital, increments of .1 and it was either $9.99 or $19.99. Had it for over 5 years and weighs very accurate. Can step on and off and will weigh the same each time.

I bought a digital scale a few weeks ago from walgreens. I think it was $11.99 It weighs in .2 increments.It is thin and has a glass top. My old scale was placing me 2lbs lighter than I was, and I could step on it twice in a minute and get two different weights. Also, my old scale only weighed in .5 increments.

I've got a Tanita and it's very reliable and accurate. I've had it for about five years now, I guess? It weighs in increments of .2. They're not inexpensive, but I've found them to be worth the price.

Mine is a weight watchers scale. I got it from target for about 30 bucks. Love it.

I second Tanita - mine does fifths of a pound as well and has been going strong with only two or three battery changes over the past eight years. Excellent scale, well worth the (quite low) price!

I have a weight watchers scale that I purchased at Walmart, I believe it cost about $35.00

I have the Eatsmart from Amazon. It was about $35. It weighs at .2 increments. I really like it so far.

Got mine at CVS for 9.99 and is the most reliable digital I've ever owned!

I have two scales. Both Taylor. brand I can't seem to get rid of either. They both are very consistent but read out about 8 lbs difference. I want to find out which is right before I throw the other out!

I just bought an EatSmart from Amazon, too, because of the overwhelmingly positive reviews. The one I got has a really wide base to stand on. I really like that you don't have to tap it to turn it on -- just step on it -- and I like that the display is backlit so it's very easy to read in dim light.

I had stepped on almost every scale in Bed, Bath & Beyond last weekend and realized that my old scales were running 2 pounds high (confirmed by the one from Amazon), so I'm lowering my start/current weights by 2 pounds. :)

So Ms Julie did you get a new scale?

I have an EatSmart scale as well and really like it - I have the one that is $32.95 on Amazon. The very first time I weighed myself on it, the results were really off and I got a little nervous. I weighed a second time and that number looked accurate and have since had no problems. That very first time using it is the only time I've had a weird number - it's otherwise been very consistent and accurate, and I've had it for probably close to a year now.
