Getting Out of the 260's... 2012

Hi all. I am back this year in the same place I started last year, minus 4 lbs. Starting the year at 263 and can't wait to get out of the 260s. Let's hope this is the year I get myself healthy! No "dieting". Just trying to "eat healthy". Sounds better than that 4 letter word.

Hello!! Good luck with your journey!

I am right there with you, back in the 260s. I do take some pride in stopping the gain here... my plan is to focus on healthy habits. I am trying to get 6-8 hours of sleep, visiting the dentist, eating 5 fruits and veggies a day and exercising at least 30 minutes 5 days a week. I expect to lose weight but if I do not loose a pound but I stick to healthy habits I will be moving in the right direction.

i feel ill be stuck in the 260s forever. tom is late so i cant weigh in for a very long time. good luck to you on getting out of the 260s its a pesky weight bracket. at least in the 250s youll be half way between 200 and 300

Only down .4 today but it is a step in the right direction.

I weight 267, started a "diet" 6 months ago at 260the pounds, lost 8a and gained that back plus some. Time to put an end to this madness, I want my body back! I wish you luck and strength in your quest.

Well, so far lost 1 pound. Breakfast and lunchtime I do pretty good, it's the rest of the day that sucks. I have to stop eating!!!!! Happens mostly because of boredom and habit of eating while watching tv. I have noticed this week that even if I am not hungry I eat just to eat. This madness has to end! Hope I can do ok over the weekend.

Down 2 lbs this week. Not a lot but it is not a gain. I'll take it and run with it.

I'll jump in here! Weighed in at 269 this morning, and tomorrow (Monday) is my first day back on track after several (lots) of months of being off plan. I am hoping I can duck out of the 260's by the end of the month!

Well, I'm behind you in the 270's but yeah! Get me out of here! And out of the 260's too!

Keep at it! :carrot:

269

Just barely IN the 260's, but 4 months ago I was in the 300's, so I'm happy to be here! Trying for 2 pounds a week, which would put me into Feb before I am in the 250's...so we'll see!

I lost 44 pounds, gained 4 pounds back over Christmas and this AM was back down to "pre-Christmas" weight loss. I'm back on track.

BTW...hubby is giving me $10 for every pound. I'm booking a cruise for October 2012, when I HOPE we're celebrating 100 pounds gone forever!
(nice of me to share my reward $$ with him, isn't it?)

Just checking in to say HI! Up and down with 1 lb again, sory of my life. 261 this morning. Almost in the 250s. Looking forward to that soon.

Change4Life 01-12-2012 08:12 AM

Back on track!! I gained 4 pounds over Christmas, but I'm down 2 pounds from my low before Christmas!! Whoot! Solidly in the "260's" now (267.2 this AM). I can see 263 on the horizon. That will be 50 pounds gone. I can't wait!! :carrot:

Lindy87 01-14-2012 10:08 AM

260 today. So excited. Hopefully I can keep this down trend going. Great job Change4Life. 50 lbs is awesome!

Lindy87 01-16-2012 11:24 AM

259.6. Staying here and not moving on. Just need to keep a downward trend before moving into the 250s. Hoping to officially be in the 250s this week.
