Hey all...didn't get a chance to check in all day. I weighed in this morning at 197.9, which is up 0.5 from my last WI on Thursday, and includes two baby showers from the weekend. Still trying to focus on water/food intake rather than the scale numbers, but I can't help but WI anyway Have a good night y'all - I'm off to bed.

I just realized smth today. I'm still nursing my 11 month old. She's been sick with high fever and nursing a lot - I wonder if this affects my weight this week -it's bouncing up and down like crazy.
Crainjo: Congratulations on the 1/2 marathon. Sounds like you are doing awesome with the running!
Salley: Welcome! And plateaus are the worst. I am currently going through one (the scale moved a little today, but I'm a litle afraid to be too hopeful...), and it is so frstrating! Hang in there though!
Amanda: You hang in there too! You know you will get those extra pounds back off. And thank you for the encouragement a few days ago. Coming back here is so nice. Brings instant focus and perspective for me.
Rennie: I know it is hard finding time and money to get in exercise. I had a free membership at one of the hospital gyms for three months as a bariatric patient which I made use of, but it got to be really hard with my schedule to get there and then trying to find the money to pay for it. Now, I bring my work out clothes to work, change before I leave, and then stop on the gym in my apartment complex before I go home. It is located at the front of the complex, I have to pass it on the way to my apartment in the back, so I'm not giving myself any excuses to not go. Are you able to make use of DVD's or anything like that?
Ona: I like what you said about moving being a habit and not feeling like your day is complete without it. That's the mindset I want. Everytime I think about not wanting to do it, I think of you (and Rafa...). You just have to do it. That's all there is to it.
So like I mentioned before, the scale moved finally this morning...fingers crossed that it keeps up. I have about 3 weeks to make my next mini-goal, so it seems very doable if I stay focused and really concentrate on my eating. I'm quickly learning that even good carbs aren't my friends, and that I need to concentrate on my water intake more. I felt so good when I was doing that before, so I definitely need to get back to it.
quick one for me.
WI yesterday at 179.4 and TOM made his appearance, bleh.
Jack has been sick for the last 2 days, and I'm starting to feel it too.
Had to reschedule my exam to bring him home and im so very ok with that cause it means i have extra study time and i need it!
and YAY my pilates should be here on thursday woo hoo!!
Yay! Down 4lbs to 207.4 today -- thank goodness...I was pretty stressed about that gain. I think all the water I drank yesterday must have helped to flush things out a bit.
Diana -- You were right, I guess it was from the sodium and carbs, like a hangover...lol. Good job on your 1.6 today!
