Default OCTOBER Points challenge! (This has nothing to do with Weight Watchers)

OCTOBER CHALLENGE!! October is here..I like fall, it's my favorite season, but the holidays start and the focus comes off ourselves and on the holidays. But not this year!! It's all about YOU!! There are still 3 more months to kill this year!! Are you where you wanted to be in terms of weight loss at this time? Do you need some accountability? Join us for our monthly challenge!!! It's somewhere to check in...some friendly competition.

Since this is a monthly challenge, it will start on the 1st and the day of the month is the day of the challenge. You need to post your points on a daily basis (or whenever you can). Simply reply to this post and then edit that post as you add points. That way you always know where you are and so do I!

For those of you who have NO IDEA what I am talking about - here are the details. Sometimes we work our hardest when we are held accountable. So I challenge you to do your very best for the month and we'll see who wins!!

Here is how it's going to go. Starting October 1, 2011. We will try to do the 3 things that work. Food, water & exercise. You decide what your food plan is, how much water you want to drink and how much exercise you want to get every day. Every day you have the opportunity to earn 4 points.

2 point for sticking with your food plan (no splitting points here, you either stuck to your plan or you didn't)
1 point for drinking the amount of water you decided on
1 point for getting some exercise. (If you don't exercise on a given day - you DO NOT get a point for exercise - even if you planned it that way) Sorry, no 1/2 points.

Post here with how many points you've earned for a given day, and I will keep track. We'll see who's did the best for the month.

This is a very cool way to keep on track, because even if you don't do so great on food, you might still get in your water and exercise to earn the points!

Note: When I do the final totals at the end of the month, I only include people who have participated 15 days or more.

I'm in! I'm committing to:

-1200-1400 calories per day
-At least 120 ounces of water per day
-At least 30 minutes of exercise daily

Right now, I am very stuck at 203.0...the scale won't budge. By the end of the month, I'd love to be in the lower 190s

It worked great for me in September, so I'm in again!

Food - Dukan Diet (on plan since I started on 5/22 and will keep going!)
Water - 80 oz (in addition to all other liquds)
Exercise - minimum 20 minutes a day but going for 30+ whenever time permits

This looks great & a great way to kick off October! I want to be the heck out of the 170's very soon and I think this challenge will help motivate me!

I also have a goal to lose 13 lbs by Thanksgiving - I think this challenge will definitely keep me motivated!

(we just keep editing this post - right? rather than making a new one every day?)

- Meal plan: WW every day, 27 points max or between 1,200 & 1,400 cal
- Exercise every day - at least 30 minutes plus 5 min cool down
- Drink at last 5 glasses of water a day - 40 ounces

Just joined the site but need a get motivated fresh start! I have a grand 100 to lose and have NEVER weighed this much in my life. I'm having trouble getting pregnant and think with my PCOS that if I lose the large amount that I could get pregnant!

-Exercise Everday for 30 minutes
