NSV - New jeans

  • I took a trip to the mall today since I've been noticing my pants have gotten somewhat loose recently. The loose pants are size 16s I bought 3-4 months ago. At the mall I was looking through clearance racks and found a cute pair of size 12 jeans I just had to try on although I knew they wouldn't fit.

    Well, they fit.

I wear size 12 jeans now! I can hardly believe it! A year ago I wore size 24-26 jeans. I feel like a new person now and still can't believe what my body looks like in the mirror. I still have more weight to lose until I'm not overweight anymore but having these "wow!" NSV moments throughout the weight loss journey are truly special.

Just had to share this with ya'll! I'm doing the happy dance in my new pants!
  • It feels great doesn't it. Congrats on your weight loss.

    I love NSV!
  • Congratulations!! You cut your jean size in half!
  • Congrats! I know that is a great feeling. When I had lost weight before I tried on my first size 14 and I literally cried. I was so happy.
Pretty soon you will be in single didgets.
  • congrats!!!!
  • Fantastic! I had the same experience with my 12s on my last go-round. I can't wait to fit into them again--won't be long, I'm in my 14s now Congrats again, it's such a wonderful feeling, this shrinking!
  • Good for you.I went to Macys. Tried to fit in size 10 pants. Well, the waist was 2 inch short. May beI will fit into it next 2-3 months. I cud fit in size 12. But it kind of tight. Because I am 59 years. Too tight dont look good on me.
    So I baught size 14.
  • Actually I have noticed my lower body si reducing faster than my upper body.
    Has anyone having similar experience?
  • Good job!

I'm having the same problem. My arms are the worst!

Thank you everyone for the encouragement! I'm still so thrilled!
  • That is so awesome!! I am currently size 18w and can't even imagine how good it must feel to be in "normal" sizes! Congrats to you!
