I've poked around in these forums a bit, but I originally set a goal of losing about 80lbs. I'm about 50lbs in already, and I've decided that I want to joined the Commissioned Corps- the public health branch of the military. The only thing holding me back is meeting the weight requirements. I have to get down to about 145 for my height.
Honestly, resetting my goal weight in my head does make it seem a little overwhelming. I do think for my body type it'll look a little thin, and it'll definitely be hard. But I will keep plugging away at it, and I think the benefits of being in the Corps might be the motivation I need to keep the weight loss going. I'm thinking about changing my ticker to 10lb increments to break it into chunks. Anywho, you'll be seeing me around the threads a lot more, and I'd appreciate any support I can get.
