50 Pounds lost
 

This is bitter sweet for me. I have now lost 50 pounds yet my sister, best friend and biggest supporter is not here to celebrate this with me. I keep finding myself reaching for the phone to call her or looking at the phone to see if I've missed her call. She saw me all the time so she got to see how much I'm changing but I still want to celebrate with her. My sister was killed in a hit and run while out jogging this past Sunday. I miss her more than I think I can handle at times.

I will continue my journey and talk with her in my own way. I just wish she were here to celebrate with me.

Oh my goodness....if you believe in an afterlife always know that your sister can see you and is always and will forever be cheering you on. So very sorry. I also lost a sister under very different circumstances, but it is a hole in your soul that can never be replaced.

Just so you all know the photo is of my beautiful sister. That smile is the real deal and I know she is proud of me just as I am so very proud of the woman she was and still is in my heart.

I am really sorry for your loss. I lost my mom in May, she was only 50 years old and my best friend. It is so hard to not be able to tell her how good I am doing, she was always my biggest supporter. I do feel that she is rooting for me up above, and I'm sure your sister is doing the same! Keep going strong, I am sure she is super proud of you!
