Curiousity killed the cat
 

So, I've lost about 14-1/2 pounds, give or take. Not great in the amount of time I've been working at it, but that's 14 pounds less to carry around so I'll be thankful.

I am curious though. I've done all my measurements and they don't seem to be changing but I feel like I look like I've lost weight. None of my clothes fit better, but I swear I'm losing a bit of my pudge above my navel.

Anyway, I went through some not-too-old pics in my webcam file and I thought I'd take a recent one to show.

I want you to look at both pictures and tell me which one you think is current and whether or not you think I've lost weight. They're just face shots, so it might be hard. But, I really need a bit of a pick-me-up this week!

The pictures are not numbered or identifiable to date; also I should note: I have changed my living around, so either picture may be from before or after it was done. Don't go by whichever one has more pictures hanging up or not :) I'm linking them randomly, too.

First one is after, second one is before....you can tell you lost weight. :-)

I agree I think blue is after, your face looks slimmer.

It took me a good long time before anyone noticed (about 40 lbs), so don't let that discourage you, but I was going to say pink was after, but it was only because you look happier. haha ;)

It's definitely hard to tell. First off, we can only see your face so if you're losing all over, only 1-2 lbs are from your face at most. Plus, the blue is a bit closer up than the pink.

That said, you seem happier in pink. You're wearing a nice top and a beautiful necklace and overall...just look a little glowy in that one. So...my guess is that pink is the after. ;)

I've lost 30lbs and NO ONE'S said a word yet! :p I know patience is a virtue but my family is testing mine. They'd better start gushing...and soon! :D

It's difficult for me but only because they aren't the same angle, one is lighter than the other, one she is smiling bigger. I keep looking and trying to figure it out. I don't want to have the wrong answer though! lol Okay wait, I'm changing it to pink.

I think it is the pink one. However let me say that I have some pictures from last weekend after 25lbs gone and guess what..... Some of them I look horrific and heavier than when I started and some I look a lot less. Pictures in my case rarely if ever tell the whole story.
Remember that the most important part is how you feel and give it a bit longer and it will be easy for anyone to pick which one.

The blue one was taken last night, the pink one taken in February.

It's good to get the guesses because it means that while some think it looks like I've lost, others can't see it- and that means it's time to work harder at it :D

I'll be honest and admit I didn't see a lot of difference, but I'm very close to you you in terms of stats and amount lost (I expect to be fairly close to 14 lbs for my official WI on Sunday) and I don't see any difference in myself yet either! lol!

I also want to say that I was at over 30 pounds lost before folks started to notice. And I didn't notice myself until 45-ish when I had to go shopping because my skivvies were unflatteringly baggy in the behind. (Why did I just tell you that? I don't know.)

Anyway, keep up the great work!

Give it a few more pounds, I'm sure you'll start seeing something soon enough!
