Thank you all for letting me post on this thread this month! Now that I've got the hang of daily posting (and feel like I've started to get to know you all by lurking), im ready for full participation next month. Except I'll be away for the wii through the 10th, so I won't be posting weights for a big chunk of this month, but I'll be here in any event!

Sunshine87 06-30-2011 07:47 AM

I lost a solid 10 pounds during the month of June...WOOO HOOO! I will repeat this loss for the month of July. Thanks to you ladies who kept this thread going everyday. You are the best!

Good Morning All

starbrite I hope your day gets better

envelope Congrats on the 10lbs GONE :high: and thanks gonna check out myfitness pal :)

Diana thanks for reminding me about TOM I forgot to record the days I was on this month. I have my :crossed: that TOM will leave you tomorrow also. :) Congrats on maintaining this month :high:

ilbnej Congrats on the 4.2 GONE for the month :high:

Sunshine Congrats on the 10lbs GONE for the month :high:

Well I had an OK morning. I did get to go out and get some exercise in. We walked a mile in 17.42 minutes and cycled a mile in 11.19 minutes. I would have liked to stay out longer but that bike seat just isn't cutting it. Gonna pick up the one Angie told me about today.

I lost a measly 2.8lbs this month. Not even close to my 10lb forth of July goal. Oh well ... better numbers in July.

See you all later

Kukkie84 06-30-2011 09:12 AM

Ohhhh boy. I gained 1.8 overall this month. Battling many sodium outings and strange fatigue *sigh*. July has got to be a better month for me! It just has to be.

ETA: my WI this morning was the same at 202.5 - I've never had a single number three days in a row. Time to shake things up.

Coondocks 06-30-2011 09:17 AM

Good morning all.
I'm here, Im doing well for the most part :)

I had to take a mental break, things with S got uglier, then something clicked in his head and we are being civil, he has expressed regret and apologies for everything he has done these last 6 months that got us to a point I had to say enough is enough Im out.
He let me know he misses our friendship more than anything and wants to be able to get that back some day, but looking at things from my shoes, knows that may never happen.
On the very good side, we came to a mutual agreement, have a legalized document signed, notarized etc. So all that is done, i feel like a HUGE weight has been lifted.

Now for the not so good part. June, I lost nothing. At all.
The up side to that, is I maintained through the stress AND the last 3 days I have been hitting it hard, I mean HARD.
30 day shred followed by 30-45 minutes of hiking on the treadmill level 7 or higher. WOOT WOOT to me. So, I have to think there is some loss there but given the inevitable water i'm retaining, Im really ok with it all.

Looking forward to starting July off strong, mentally and physically. My quads . . . NOT happy with me though, Wow, so not happy. Arms are looking pretty good :) :)
Just in time for Canada Day weekend at the farm! Yay! So excited to take Jack to see the cows ha ha

I Have a lot of reading to catch up on so I'll BBL with personals.

CHEERS!!

Vixsin 06-30-2011 10:24 AM

Coon:  I'm glad for you.

I lost 3.2 lbs this month. Would've been 5.2 if TOM didn't give me this bag of water to hold until he gets here!

Bringing my friend to the airport today so half day at work for me!!! :woohoo:

BRING ON JULY!!!!!!!!!!!!

MamaP 06-30-2011 12:04 PM

So . . . how did you sleep last night?

I wonder why I'm so tired today . . . hmmmm. . . . (Yeah, I know I look awful . . . but it's still funny and representative of how my night's sleep went. And I wouldn't trade it for the world :) ).

Angie 06-30-2011 12:26 PM

I took back part of my whoosh just in time for the end of the month…down 1.2 this morning to give me a nice round loss of 3lbs for the month.

Rennie -- I use the loseit app on my ipod touch…it’s great for tracking calories and exercise, and you can ‘friend’ people on their site too. Let me know if you get that one.

Diana -- TTOM and the busy time at work always seem to coincide for you…how lovely…lol. Congratulations on meeting your maintenance goal! When do you leave for the beach?

Ilbnej -- Looking forward to chatting with you more in July :D

Sunshine -- Great job on your 10lbs in June!

Rennie -- Good for you for getting in your exercise this morning!!

Coondocks -- Welcome back!

Kris -- LOL! What a great picture. I often wake up in a similar position, but it’s a big 6 year old foot in my face, or my ribs, or a full kid laying on top of me. :D

What are we calling the July thread?

This was the 2 1/2 year old. He's been asking to sleep with me for several nights and last night he won out. He moves a lot during the night so at any given point I could have a foot, hand or arm in my face, his face on my face, nose to nose (noses touching), him cross-ways across my belly or my chest -sometimes with his feet on me, sometimes with his head on me, and sometimes with his whole body across me, etc. But the best part was waking up to the sweetest little kiss, smile and a "hi waama." His little brother is almost as bad - his favorite position is to lay his face on your face.

good afternoon ladies! the scale was adamant this morning about not letting me see 259. i tried several times too! but every time, 260.1 (down 1.1 from yesterday) so i guess i'll have to be satisfied with that for now lol. hopefully i can have that 259 tomorrow (and TOM doesn't sabotage me) for my ticker change so it will say that i've lost over 40lbs :D

i started the month at 270.1 so that's exactly 10lbs for june. woo :D

MamaP - that picture is adorable :D

Angie - I was trying to think of names for the july thread, but i couldn't come up with anything scale/weight related. :(

Scale don't July to me (scale don't you lie to me) I think this was posted before. I'm not a creative type person, so I think I saw it on here somewhere. :dunno:

Angie We are not going to open the shop tomorrow. We are leaving tomorrow morning. I totally hate the packing up part of going out of town. I am literally dreading it.

konfyoozed 06-30-2011 03:08 PM

took my pics a little while ago for 260 (since i'm off today and had the time to fiddle with the camera and the computer and such), the comparison between 290 and 260 is here: http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/100-...cs-change.html

love2b150 06-30-2011 05:04 PM

Kukkie sounds like a plateau starting (hoping not) time to shake things up a little

Coondocks great to see you and glad you two came to a mutual agreement with signed papers :)

Vixsin Congrats on the 3.2 GONE :high:

Kris  that is exactly why I had to stop Marissa from getting in the bed with us. She and all the other would get in when they were younger and almost push Bill out of the bed. But Marissa has this clingy Mommy thing and my back would hurt so bad I couldn't walk ... those little feet hurt and the leg throwing  That is a cute/funny picture :) Aw that's cute too face to face ... the closeness :)

Mandy Congrats on the 10lbs GONE :high: You can definitely tell a difference in the pictures. Looking good Lady keep up the good work and Thanks

Thanks Angie Congrats on the 3lbs GONE :high: I put myfitnesspal on my phone I'll put lose it on there also just to feel them out. Thanks :)

Ona Congrats on the 1lb GONE, don't be :dizzy: you know what to do ... FIGHT ON LADY  And I am with you GOOD BYE JUNE

Diana I love the packing, I hate the unpacking oh my goodness it's never ending  Have fun ... still wishing TOM away for ya' :)

eclipse where are you? Did the new thread start up yet?

Gale02 06-30-2011 07:00 PM

Hey all, still here, still not weighing in! It's definitely been a week of comfort food and no exercise... we'll see what the scale brings when all of this is over. :dunno:

We're still holding steady in White Rock. The fire was a little over 92,000 acres this morning, lots of wind and temps over 100 degrees have probably pushed that number over 100k by now. :(

I think that Rennie mentioned something about seeing a power plant and Los Alamos on the news. Please, for goodness' sake, don't believe what the major media outlets are telling you guys about this fire and the lab up here. We don't have 30,000 barrels of nuclear waste stored in fabric tents  we aren't bulldozing up plutonium in our mountains  we don't have the nation's largest stockpile of nuclear weapons (and those we do have are perfectly safe - fire is a non-issue), the plume really is smoke and not a criticality accident, the fire is miles and miles away from the nearest radioactive material (and, again, it's all VERY secure - fire can't reach it), and we don't even HAVE a nuclear reactor here. Oh, and we don't glow in the dark either... usually. ;)

The media outlets are infuriating. They are ignoring the fire completely and making up outlandish tales about the "danger" at LANL instead. If you are interested in the real info, www.nmfireinfo.wordpress.com is a good website, and has a link to the Las Conchas stats as well.

Thanks for all of your prayers and well wishes, we're still hanging in there! :)
