  • This morning, the scale read 199.5. I haven't been under 200 in about ten years and I'm really happy with my slow but steady progress.

Some of the NSVs I have been enjoying are making my way through the C25K training, after never getting past week 1 last summer. I can also now go to the mall and walk into any store (that carries 18s on the bottom and 16s on the top) and buy clothes.

I feel great and thank you everyone so much for your support and just posting so I could read here and stay focused.
  • Congratulations! You do not have much more to goal. I know that must feel fabulous.
  • Yeah, I thought this day would come, but it's so great to see all the times I said "no" to snacking and overeating paying off.
  • Good luck with your continue efforts!!
  • WTG that's awesome! Onederland is the greatest place to be!
  • Congrats, great job!!!!
  • Great job JessLess! You should be very proud of yourself.
  • GREAT JOB!!! And congrats on the C25k! training! That's a goal for me this year as well. I've already got my run picked out - training starts August 29th!
  • Congratulations!! Your doing great- and you don't have far to go now
  • Congratulations! That's wonderful. Keep up the great work!!!
  • Thank you all!
  • Couch-to-5K AND Onederland. WOW! You should be so proud of yourself! Is there a particular 5K you're training for?
  • I'm training for Take the Lake 5K in Wakefield, MA in July, and I'm walking a 10K in June for AIDS Walk Boston. I'm really excited about both of them. AIDS Walk Boston has a 5K but they really don't want people who can't run the whole way and I'm not willing to make any promises on that yet.
  • Yay! Congrats on all your accomplishments!

  • I will add you to the list of Onederland all stars!!
