  • + the second sunny day in a row
    + did not meet my April weight goal but am OK with that - renewed determination
    + my rhubarb is starting to grow - I love rhubarb and it's low calorie and low carb
    + found the perfect buttons for my dress for the wedding in June
    + a fun time expected at the shower this afternoon
    + a busy and maybe stressful week ahead but I can cope
    + the loons are back and making their twice daily commute between the lakes, making me smile
    + it's May so it MUST be Spring
  • * Grateful for my children. They keep me going and remind me to be THANKFUL for what I do have.
  • I'm grateful I was able to drive the kids to the DQ to use the buy one get one free blizzard coupon I had (in my name, hence my presence was required) and was able to walk away without slipping or rationalizing myself into even a mini...lol.
  • ruth, hearing about the loons is so neat. I remembering watching "On Golden Pond" and seeing the loons and Katherine Hepburn trying to do their call.

    Grateful for:
    -a day off tomorrow
    -family
    -HOPE
    -optimism
    -my dogs, Blackie and Brownie
  • + had extreme fun at the shower yesterday
    + avoided Wendy's gorgeous cupcakes
    + my neighbour cut up the huge pieces of my tree and hauled them away
    + it's election day and the constant phone calls and ads have ended
    + the trilliums are out so it's really Spring
    + lovely coffee and cuddle with my dogs this morning - they love me so much
    + a busy day ahead but I feel rested and ready to roll
  • * Internet acces - mine was out at home this weekend and I really missed it.
    * Willingness to try
    * Local strawberries
    * Time spent with my granddaughter
    * Family and friends
  • Today I am feeling grateful for my husband and for all the rain yesterday and today. Rain has always been very calming and isolating for me and I want that right now.

    • on my way without my cells and not needing them either :P
    • work making progress
    • flirting, just a little bit
    • cleaning this morning
    • going to bed early
    • looking forward to seeing my parents tomorrow

    -saw a family of Geese, babies and parents-so cute
  • - my wonderful friends who care about me and are willing to hold me hand when the going gets tough

    - no deep dark cloud over me this morning - improved from the past 4 days (partly cloudy lol)

    + number crunching paid off at the Mill planning meeting

    + time for a trip to the Falls this afternoon to see Joy and Jake

    • going to the gym for zumba, which was lots of fun!

    • scale moving into the 230s (ok so 239.8 but still!) for the first time this morning

    • being in a good mood all day
