An attitude of gratitude - Month of April
No matter what is happening in your life. . . lots of good things or not so good things . . . there are always things for which you can be grateful. Knowing this helps put life into perspective.
Please feel free to join in. It feels good! :) Studies show that this daily task can have a positive impact in your life! :) |
Cheryl - your daily post of your gratitude for indoor plumbing is inspiring me to remember to be grateful for the things I take for granted.
- two sane food days - I am grateful - got my hair colored yesterday... looks so pretty. I love that I go to the salon at my mom's senior apartment. I love hanging with mom and her friends there - inspiration from reading positive things - my friend got a new kitty - Ginger - a cute tortie - the daily paper on the front steps in the morning - my family, my friends, YOU ALL - water heater |
Yes, I need to be grateful for the "taken for granted" things in my life like:
- an attractive and comfortable house - my reliable Ford Focus which has earned a paint job - fun and supportive friends - well behaved and loving dogs - Spring which always comes - being able to splurge once in a while - I bought tulips yesterday - living in this safe and beautiful part of my country |

~I am grateful for my daily walks and dinner with my parents. I've never felt closer to them than I do now and I truly appreciate the quality time and healthy environment that is allowing me to stay focused on my weight loss journey. ~I am grateful for two beautiful, smart, healthy children who amaze me and teach me something new every single day. ~I am grateful for the energy and strength that I have gained which is keeping me on this path, even when things have gotten tough. ~I am grateful that the rain has stopped and we have BEAUTIFUL sunshine today!! |
