Good morning, Friends! I'm down .8 today.

Diana - I baked my turnip fries...sliced the turnip into steak fries, tossed them in a baggie with 2 tsp of olive oil, a sprinkle of garlic salt and a dash of Ms Dash...spread out on cookie sheet and bake in oven for 25 minutes, turning once. They have a lovely slightly sweet flavor.

Love2be150 - Sorry to hear about the diabetes. Just remember that you can turn that around. Southbeach is a wonderful way to do this! Phase 1 is tough! Try to eat 1 cup of beans or lentils each day and drink some milk. This will help.

To those of you who also want to do a charm bracelet, I'm so glad you love the idea too! I'm using Pandora type beads. I recommend checking out Etsy. There are some beautiful beads on there by some very talented artists.

Today, Hubby and I will be putting down some cow poo and mulch on the flower beds. Don't you envy me? I probably will be vey sore tonight.

Have a great on-plan day.

Wow, you guys are giving me some really interesting ideas for tasty food to try! Down another 0.5 today; I guess I should be thankful that I am nearing the end of TOM and must be losing some water weight. I went to a movie yesterday afternoon and munched on a bunch of popcorn and then followed that up by eating an oreo frosty late in the evening... Not exactly on plan for the day, even if my net calories total was still negative. But probably only like -300 or so.

Happy Sunday! Big change today from yesterday, I went for a walk, the sun was shining, the patio's were open.. and now it's snowing

starbrite - I love mashed cauliflower, I've put roasted garlic in it too, so yummy! With a little parmesan cheese too. Might add that to my shopping list this week! When is your one year anniversary for this weight loss?

pamatga - You just delayed the whoosh! It'll come

LetWorkitOut & Angie - Darn TOM! I will be joining you ladies soon!

Kukkie - amazing how good maintaining can feel sometimes Are you still doing 30 Day Shred?

Ona - hope you get some sleep and recooperate after your busy couple of days!

BeTrueToYou - that gain could definitely been from lack of going to the bathroom, has happened to most of us! Hopefully your doctor can find you some better medications!

Mandy - That's a pretty good WI considering you drank water before it! I always have to do it on an empty stomach otherwise I'm guaranteed a gain!

Rhonda - great WI this morning! And I am totally jealous.. it's been snowing all day here.

love2b - I quite enjoyed South Beach! Definitely get creative, and eat beans!

Phew! Hopefully I didn't miss anyone!

As for me? Up .4 this morning, but this was before a bathroom break. Not too shabby I think Going grocery shopping today to get myself set up for the week! Unfortunately I'm going to a cosmetics school this week, which means no control over my lunch on Wednesday. My only hope is that the trainer is still on her diet, because she always orders a garden salad!

BeTrue I have the same issue. My Mom told me to take Miralax. It didn't work like I thought it would but it is lighter and easier when I do go. So it helped some

Thanks Aimee ... We had a little snow here on Wednesday but it was chilly all week so we could expect anything. I really need to do some shopping for food for this new eating plan. Good luck to you on Wednesday.

Hi eclipse ... I'm holding tightly to the 170's but it's my fault. You'll see the 150's before you know it. Congrats

Hi LeeLee and Elaine

So TOM and ungodly amounts of sodium and eating late and huge amounts of exercise with related sore muscles adds up to being up 1.8 additional pounds on the scale. 183.6 today. Is ok though, will be gone soon enough. I made my goal of burning over 4,000 calories yesterday - I got 4,368. I also managed to run an entire lap straight around the track. In lane 8 that's .2779 miles. Running is really hard for me, so that is a huge accomplishment in my books.

GirlyGirl - No matter how fit someone is zumba is usually difficult at first. Nobody is going to expect you to be perfect from the start. Even people who have been doing it forever still sometimes have problems when the teacher throws a new song at us. It is a blast! It is also an awesome workout. I usually burn slightly over 10 calories per minute during zumba. Go and have fun. I love this bead idea. Hubby wants to know if I want to go get one and all the beads I have earned so far.

Bulletproof - Sometimes people are worried about offending people by saying something about their weight loss. That might have been the case with the people at the baby shower.

Welcome to the new people and Happy Sunday to everyone! I'm now off to get a bracelet apparently and maybe some turnips.

Ona - My hubby is a big geek and he figured out the distance of each lane for me so that my mileage can be exact.

Wow it's quiet in here today. I just finished doing this months measurements and I have lost 2.125 inches since 3/3.

Hi to everyone! I weighed this morning and was -1.4 from yesterday to 250.4. I did ALOT of yard work today. I raked and cleaned my yard for 6+hours! I am soooo tired, but happy that I burned so many calories today.

Starbrite It sounds like you have a lot going on right now! Hope you are sleeping well tonight!

Be True Have you ever tried Milk of Magnesia? I have IBS and it is the only thing that works on a regular basis. I take 2 Tblsp. a few times a week, and it has helped so much.

Everyone else, have a great Monday!

had a great time away.. my near 3 pound gain, probably all from last nights bdubs but i am back on plan today..i am pretty sure most of it is just water retention...and although i didn't exercise all i did was climb stairs, my friend lives on the 3rd floor, and i was constantly going outside to smoke.(yeah i know) or to get fresh air even if it is 3 pounds of fat..it was a great long weekend, got to see some people i haven't seen in a couple of years..so it was worth it.

Finally weighed myself properly this morning(unlike last time ). Down to 270... Kinda ate a bit to much today, noting for dinner tonight. Back on track tomorrow. With all that's stressing me out right now I'm not surprised how much i ache right now. I'm really looking forward to the chiropractor on Tuesday
