What a weekend...

This past week was hard. TOM around the corner, stuck at 202/201 lbs, INTENSE food cravings. Felt like I was hanging on the ledge of a cliff with only one hand.

The positive: I jogged over a mile on both Thursday and Saturday.

The negative: Did not track my calories on Daily Plate. Inhaled a bag of popchips on Friday night. Stayed on plan Saturday, but decided to (along with DH, who is doing this with me, and working on the last 5 lbs) have "Breakfast" for dinner. Whole-Wheat Pancakes, Turkey Bacon (no nitrates), 1 scrambled egg each, with agave syrup, and coffee. Since the time was changing, we ingested this carb festival at 9:30pm and went to bed shortly thereafter. Yesterday was my Mom's b-day, and I brought a store-bought carrot cake (her favorite) and let her pick the restaurant. Italian. So I ate some bread, minestrone, and a chicken pasta dish with a light marinara and vegetables (out of the options this seemed the lightest) and then had a slice of cake. I limited my calories knowing I was going to have an off-plan dinner and dessert. So today TOM is still not here, I'm bloated as a toad, and yes, the sodium I've been gorging on has made me bloat up to 205. Uugghhh.

So I'm back on plan, going to drink lots of H20, and keep the carbs low, protein high. And I will work out. Even though my back is starting to hurt. TOM sucks. :(

Thanks for reading.

Good thing about TOM is that they are short! You must be doing something right by looking @ your ticker. You can do it :)

:hug:I agree with Slimjem! Stay focused! You are doing awesome! I bet you couldn't run a mile when you started!

Congrats on the jogging twice in the week! That's great news! :carrot:

You are so close to onederland...keep going! You sound like you have a plan.
