Some of you said to let you know when I finally had "the big date." It was this afternoon. Both of us were off so we went to Applebees for lunch and then went to a movie. I survived it and had a good time!
After not being on a first date in over a decade (since before I was married) it was kind of a big deal for me. He treated me like a lady and it was obvious that he likes me. So now I can answer my first dating question. "Do guys go out with plus sized women?" yes they do! I really do believe it depends on how you carry yourself, dress, and your personality too. Of course I am not planning on staying this size but it's good to get out there again!Thanks for all your advice and support! It's been great!

Your story inspires me. . .for so long I've basically not even thought about dating until I lose at least a good bit of weight. . .but you've got such a great attitude about it! I agree with you totally. . . in life, so much depends on how we feel about ourselves and how we project that.
that is funny! Well, to tell you the truth before the date all I could think of was should I kiss him or not at the end? And guess what? We actually kissed DURING the movie. I totally could not believe it! 
That is so not me. When I met my ex husband I was an 18 year old virgin who wouldnt dream of kissing on the first date!
