I am down 2 more pounds this week! Things are going good, so far. According to my body bugg my daily deficit was 1006 calories, so that makes sense that I am down 2lbs.

Third week on plan and 3 more pounds down! This seems to be working. :) I hope the 4th week on plan is good too.

You're doing a great job Asherdoodles! I think people cite the 1-2 pounds a week because drastic change means it's harder for you and your body to adapt for long periods of time, and the goal is for sustainable weight loss and a plan that you can stick to so there isn't any of the yo-yo weight loss and gain that can be so damaging to your body. But I think it's different for everyone. I know that the larger you are, the more common it is to lose a higher number, especially at first. You burn more calories just doing the same thing a smaller person does, just for carrying that extra weight around when you do it. And certainly the loss of water weight and just being conscious of what you're putting into your mouth and being held accountable will cause you to be super well behaved, so it's not unrealistic to have lost so much at first. And I don't believe it will hurt you at all.

It sounds like you've been doing fantastic in the following weeks and that weight loss has settled into a more sustainable loss number that you're comfortable with, so keep up the good work! You're doing great!

I feel myself fall back into my old habits this week. I did not exercise three times this past week because I wanted a day to rest, and then the next day the weather was so bad I couldn't get to the gym. Then, I had some school work to do, and I couldn't make time for it. And, I ate a few nachos and french fries. Ugh, I don't want to keep slipping up. So, I am re-committing right now. I am giving it my ALL.

I am down 3lbs for week four. I thought I was only going to get two. Anyway, I am going to keep going! I tried two exercise classes this past week, and I loved them. :)
