+ I get to puppy-sit again today
+ it's Canada Day - I love my beautiful country!
+ my filipendula is a cloud of pink in the dog garden
+ we still have lots of local strawberries
+ boat cruise and fireworks tonight
+ my dogs are being very good and loving with the puppy - no jealousy
+ my studio is clean and neat, ready for the next project and clutter
+ another lovely sunny day for this long weekend
+ had a great time on the Lake watching fireworks last night
+ nice puppy-admiration visit from four friends yesterday
+ Ted is doing better and may get home soon
+ a "date" with Ian for coffee this morning
+ have firmed up plans for the breadmaking workshop at the Mill
+ once again am caught up on Mill postings
+ loons are hollering as they do their morning commute between the lakes - I live in a beautiful place
Me again.
Today I am grateful for:
+ a lovely morning with Ian yesterday
+ found ten chairs that would be perfect with my diningroom table
+ the white shastas and red beebalm are a perfect Canada Day bouquet
+ my three loaves of sandwiches for the church went together quickly this morning
+ I slept right through to 6 this morning - the fan and lavender scent helped
+ Church is not until 10:30 so I can soak in the tub with my second coffee this morning
+ a studio tour this afternoon is a possibility depending on the weather
+ if it rains, I will have time to sew - I have new clothes that need shortening
+ a hot but glorious weekend
+ I seem to handle the heat much better since dropping some fluff
+ nice chat with the Bishop yesterday - he really enjoyed my dogs in Church
+ studio tour with Ian was interesting and I did not go crazy about silver earrings
+ good and healthy dinner last night
+ bedroom was fairly cool with the fan running
+ feeling good this morning despite wakening way too early again

- Sitting here with my lovebird, who is remarkedly calm and NOT biting me to death (for once)
- On my days off, which is lovely
- Slept well last night
- Listening to the ever amazing Imogen Heap, who always makes me feel good
- a wonderful weekend. Still thinking about everything. I loved seeing my friend, Paula.
- last night watching the fireworks with DH and the neighbors at my mom's. Mom came out and watched too. Our sweet neighbors brought my mom a flowering plant for her July 4th bday.
+ a solid night of sleep - rare for me lately
+ all my village planters are doing well
+ got the veggie garden watered yesterday
+ the first cherry tomato
+ black currant crop is nearly ready
+ Disney's ear problem seems to be resolving itself
+ I have a new great judge for the Fair schoolwork
+ bargain gas over at Portland!
+ the mail is starting to flow again
+ the smell of freshly ground coffee
+ we are getting some badly needed rain this morning - my garden is smiling
+ the day lilies are starting to bloom
+ M. is having a birthday party for her Mother - they are friends again!
+ Disney is seeming less nervous about t-storms. She now wants to be near me rather than hiding under the bed.
+ strawberries, black currants and raspberries are all ready - I love summer fruit
+ plans for the Friday night Fish Fry seem to be in place
+ I have some clothes that fit - no more saggy baggy elephant pants
