Farmer's markets rock! Ours is only open from May to mid-October, but they often have a stand where you can try some kind of produce and there are free recipe handouts.
Take confidence in knowing that with time you will become so accustomed to the changes that you will no longer need to portion them our or sharpie anything! You'll be able to prepare on demand and have very good general ideas of your calorie counts! I'm 1 1/2 yeras in and still keep track but often times I can do it all in my head!
