Cold & Flu Season and affects on weight loss?
 

cold and flu season has finally hit my house.
so, i just wonder how many of you hit a stall or lose more when your sick?

I'm miserable, got a headache, sore throat, body aches, runny nose, ect
i don't have much of an appetite and just want to sleep.

how do i make sure i get enough calories while sick?
one of my big problems i had was never eating and i have worked hard trying to increase my food to the minimum daily calories.

I'm not cutting anything out, just trying moderation.

so what should i try to eat that won't hurt my throat?
I'm already drinking hot honey tea and lemon tea.

prolly depends on how much ice cream you eat to cure sore throats. :P

honestly though I haven't been sick at all since feb 2008, so I don't even remeber. Which is prolly good. ha.

Unless I have a stomach flu and I'm vomiting or a really bad flu with a high fever, I end up gaining a bit. I tend to comfort eat. :( Right now I have a bad headache and a sore throat and I desperately wanna eat. I've already gone over my calorie limit by almost 300 calories which is nothing since I tend to binge when it's like this. I"m going to try not to give in tonight. I really hope you feel better soon.

I like soup when I'm not feeling well. It's very comforting.

well even though its not good but in 3 days i've dropped from 272 down to 268
i didn't even get out of bed until 2pm.

i hate being sick, it drives me crazy.
