Oh yes, still hanging in there. ;) I've been updating the front page. I just got bored updating every day, I guess. LOL! That and I've hit a stall, so it's not exactly exciting. BUT, I've lost an inch off my waist and that thrills me!

I'm in a really good head space right now. I think once this wedding I'm attending in March passes I will be one content little camper. I had it in my head that I was going to be 135 pounds for this wedding. I'm not going to be. I have to let that go. If it weren't for that darn nagging deadline in my head, I would really be very happy with where I am body wise.

I took my measurements this morning, and maybe that's where my good mood is coming from. I read yesterday that the "ideal woman", whoever she is :rolleyes:, measures 36-26-36. My measurements are 36-28-36. :carrot: Those are the first numbers I've seen that validate the way I feel. I know that doesn't make sense, but my weight really bothers me. It doesn't match the way I feel.

So yep...I'm in a good head place today and thanks for asking!

Slim CB 02-08-2011 09:50 AM

I am soo happy to know! It's weird how we get connected to persons in these forums.

I know how you feel about the numbers/deadlines but I think we have to get to the place where we feel satisfied with our bodies. I have gotten to that place now. Sure I would ideally like to drop 2 more pounds but is that going to make a whole lot of difference - I don't think so. As such, I am being content and focusing on enjoying this new chapter in my life. The chapter where the clothes fit, the shoes look hot, I am fitter than ever, can run 30mins straight, can complete a tough 60min class and not feel winded..........

I am glad you are feeling good about yourself. You deserve it after all you have been through recently. Let go of the deadline and enjoy your new body!:carrot::carrot:

Ok, with that wedding looming, I'm kicking it into gear. I've accepted a challenge at my gym to increase cardio so I'm I'm running 3 miles AND doing spin class M/W/F and I'm running on the elliptical T/TH as well as running stairs at work. Oh yeah, and lifting too. LOL! I'm tired! Seriously, I think a nap is in my future for this afternoon.

Ooh! Exciting! I love the new lows. Even if they don't come back for a week or so, I know they are there. My new low today was 178.6. I hope by fall I'm seeing your low of 148!

I have been in the 150's since, 11/1 according to my mini goal achievements. :yikes: It took me 3 and a half months to get out!! This is so welcome! :D

Welcome to the 170's!! I was so happy to be there! 174 was just "overweight" for me. That's about when I started to feel really, really good about myself. "Overweight" felt normal, and it was. It's lovely just being able to fit in with a crowd. And you have a few inches on you, so I bet the 170's are lovely! ;)

Slim CB 02-11-2011 09:24 AM

Yay!!!!!!!!!!!! So happy for you!!!!:carrot::carrot::carrot:

OMG! You are in the 140s!! I know this is weird, since I don't post super often, but you are very inspirational, and I when I have a chance I was seeing your progress in this thread a few weeks ago, when you were 151. And then just by coincidence a few minutes ago I was reading another thread, that you happened to have posted in, and I saw that your ticker said you were at 148! I am so happy for you! And I wanted to come over to this thread and say congrats!! :cheer2: Whoo-hoo!
