That deep dish sundae looked gooooood. Everything else looked gross.

Lauren201 12-13-2010 04:01 PM

That is craziness! It really shocked me!

spixiet 12-13-2010 10:15 PM

Earlier today I got a $50 gift card good at Chili's, On the Border, Macaroni Grill, or Maggianos Little Italy... and I think I may have to regift it :o These places all just make me think of food items like the ones on that list~

Jojo381972 12-13-2010 11:32 PM

The food makes me sick just looking at it. No wonder obesity is an epidemic when they sell foods like these.

Nola Celeste 12-14-2010 12:15 AM

Some of it looks vile, but I'm not gonna lie--some of it still looks pretty durned tasty, too. I would not leave those thick-cut french fries alone. :D

NONE of it is worth anywhere near the high nutritional costs, though. Good grief, how do they even fit the calories into some of that food? That shrimp pasta dish is only 500 calories shy of being the equivalent of an entire pound of pure butter. Calorie-wise, you would be better off gnawing a standard stick of butter like a popsicle, washing it down with a Big Gulp-sized Coke, and finishing it up with two scoops of premium ice cream than eating that dish.

How is that even possible!?

krampus 12-14-2010 02:03 AM

Oh man all of this looks amazing. I should have known better than to read it when I'm hungry at 4 pm. ARGH

shannonmb 12-14-2010 05:44 AM

I like how they tried to make some of it look gross by the picture. Like the stouffer's pot pie, they broke it in 1/2 while it was still frozen. And the fries, they dumped them out and they were the shape of the carton. haha!

girlonfire 12-14-2010 01:44 PM

Some of it looked gross. Some of it looked normal, like the salad. I'm weary of restaurant salads that aren't the small side one, but some of those it doesn't seem possible to ad that many calories to one dish. I binge eat and some of my binges do not equal the calories in one dish. Crazy!

lazylioness 12-14-2010 01:51 PM

yeah its all crazy.

The brownie, I would be ALL OVER IT. Some of the other stuff too, like basically anything from CF.

OY.

But seriously, nothing tastes as good as I remember, and none of it is worth gaining everything back.

Once in a while, sure why not, but only if I am in a good place mentally (which right now...so NOT)

krampus 12-14-2010 08:03 PM

I don't understand where all the damn sodium comes from.

LindseyLou 12-14-2010 08:40 PM

Gosh...that's crazy! How do some of those items even have 100g of fat? I didn't even know that was possible!
"Uhhh, yes I'll take THAT and a heart attack please! Ohh, and a side of saddlebags! Thanks!"
Pretty disgusting really.. :barf:

I know, right? They just dump a few cups of pure salt in the food?! :?:

I'd really be interested to know. Maybe that will be my homework tonight...find out where all the sodium comes from in restaurant food.
