Apple shrinks!
On August 1st I measured 47-45-47. This was after having lost 24.5lbs, I've no idea of my start measurements.
Tonight I measure 42.5-39-42.5. Glad to have lost 15" - but have to smile at my determined apple-osity!!!!! |
Congrats on the inches
Apple-osity - LOL  Now that's funny!!! |
|
Wowza! Congrats!
|
Rosinante ... I have been following your fabulous progress! Wow! You are doing so well. And, if you do the calculations, your waist is actually shrinking (a little) more proportionately than everything else. Congrats. CJ

You are doing GREAT!!!

So cool!
I had so much fun the year I was losing. And this was one of the reasons why. Watching my body shrink before my eyes, discovering my *real* body, knowing that I was the one that was making it happen was just the best! Each new discovery brought me more joy. I'm so happy for you and I thoroughly enjoy hearing about your discoveries. |
Congratulations from another former apple! Love the term apple-osity, so cute.
|
Thanks, guys!
Taj - now that you're There, do you still have apple-osity or has your shape changed? |
Congrats on the loss! I know how you feel, my body has a case of determined appleness too. I'm hoping it'll change as I get smaller, but thus far it's keeping the same shape and everything's shrinking at about the same rate.

Seeing the scale move is awesome. But watching the inches melt away makes me happy too.
Congrats! |
:?:
OK ladies what have I missed here??? What the heck is Apple or Appleosity or Applicious or Apple WHATEVER???? And WOW I'm so very happy to see your progress.... Do you have pics of your progress anywhere? HUGS :bravo: :high: :cheer3:  |
Congrats, from one apple to another!!! :)

Thankyou, Apples and other fruits!
Readytobeme: it's one of the body shapes: a pear-shape has a smaller bust and big hips, a lot of people call it a a classic English shape. An apple shape is someone who carries most of their weight from bust to bm, with little or no defined waist. Often with great legs, which is a blessing, but it's a dangerous bodyshape: it's been recognized that more fat round the mid-section holds more of a threat of serious health issues due to the fat. It's also a pain in the ... to get clothes - if I get trousers with a waistband to fit my "waist", they're way, Charlie-Chaplinly baggy round the behind. And being a short apple (5'2") is a pain clothe-wise too, there's so little gap between bust and behind. I do have good legs, so that when I used to wear a baggy top and leggings, I looked like a ball of knitting wool with two knitting needles stuck in. :) |
OHHHHHH Dear God Guess what ANOTHER APPLE WOMAN HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
