My Baby

    Hi all,
    I just wanted to let anyone who remembers me from several months back know that I had a healthy baby girl on Oct 18, her name is Kaitlyn. She was 8 lbs 1 oz, and 20 3/4 in long. They had to induce my labor, because I was a week overdue, and my blood pressure was going up. I was only in labor for 7 1/2 hours, and pushing for about 20 minutes. Once I got the epidural, I went from 5 cm to 9 cm in about 1 hour. So, I definitely can't complain.
    I did gain about 45 lbs, so I am not to pleased about that, but I am sure I will lose it all. I don't ever want Katie to be embarassed about having a fat mom!
    I am not allowed to exercise yet, and I have so many stitches that it will be a while, but I am looking forward to starting, and posting here regularly again.

    Congrats Nic. I remember talking to you in the pregnant and staying fit area. You were in the early stages of pregnancy when mine was born. She is now 7 months. Take care of your little one and many blessings to you both.
