6 inches!!!

  • That's how many inches I've lost throughout my body in the last 11 days. I decided to measure myself early [I was originally planning just every 14 days] because I was little down about my weight loss. I haven't lost ANYTHING in about two weeks and I figured with as hard as I've been sweating and working in yoga twice a week, something's gotta give, right?

    Here are the measurements! Original to the left, new ones are out to the right!

    Neck: 16 16
    Upper-arm: 17.5 17.5
    Forearm: 12.5 12 [-0.5]
    Wrist: 7 7
    Bust: 51 49.5 [-1.5, bye bye tatas ]
    Under-bust: 42 41 [-1.0]
    Waist: 46.5 45.5 [-1.0]
    Navel: 50 49.5 [-0.5]
    Belly: 53 52.5 [-0.5]
    Hips: 52.5 51.5 [-1.0]
    Thigh: 31.5 31 [-0.5]
    Calf: 17 17.5 [+0.5, I'm assuming the crazy amounts of walking I'm doing]
    Ankle: 9.5 9.5

    To be precise, it's -6.5 inches and +0.5 because my calf muscles decided to show themselves off lol. I'm so HAPPY!!! This is so encouraging!

    I wouldn't have done it, but two people have mentioned in the space of 12 hours that I looked smaller...my boyfriend last night, and a friend from class this morning. I'm so glad I did! This just reinforces my decision to add walking MWF and light yoga stretching those days as well!!! Yay!!!!!!

    Your starting weight is pretty close to mine, so I'd be super interested to see what yours were then and now!
  • Okay, so I finally got those measurements! The first measurement is from August and the second is from Sept. of 2010. I think I will do this monthly! Now I just need to get those pics taken!
