Yesterday went pretty well for me. That Lean Cuisine was a bad idea. Not enough protein. I ended up having cereal before bed. I know better, I was just being lazy.

Plan for today:

B - High fiber porridge, Source vanilla yogurt, blueberries
S - Necatrine
L - Ham Sandwich made with Weight Watchers bread, mustard, & carrotts
S - plum
S - (after work) Slimfast 100 cal. bar
D - Dill Salmon, small potato, corn on the cob
S - 1 c. 1% milk, 100 calorie pack cookies

LOL!), training an intern, and oh yea....trying to do some of my own work.....at least it is Friday and hubby and I have tomorrow off together. We are going out for a nice dinner tomorrow night. I can't wait. He made reservations and everything!

Quick check in for me too. I went to Addittionelle (Plus size store here) on my lunch break to look for some jeans (they have tall jeans there). They didn't have a 20 so I tried on an 18 & a 22. 22's were way too big, but I couldn't even get the 18's done up. I am tempted to buy them for inspiration 'cause they are really cute, but not sure. I will sleep on it.

Plan for today:

B - High fiber porridge, Source vanilla yogurt, blueberries
S - Necatrine
L - Cheese/ham/cracker snack pack, carrotts
S - small banana
S - (after work) 2 Weight Watcher bread & whipped peanut butter
D - Wendy's chicken cobb salad (no cheese or bacon)
S - 1 c. 1% milk, 100 calorie pack cookies

Hi chicks...been struggling - but, I can't give up....I musn't give up.

Dh's skin surgery showed no cancer...I am so grateful!!

I must plan and take it a meal and snack at a time, keep track of doing the right things with food, and be willing to push through.

We are going to some friends today.. for a cookout and bonfire. They live way out in the country and have 12 acres. It will be fun to see them. I made some sweet/sour cucumbers & onion with splenda. Hoping for willingness!!

breakfast - egg white scramble, ketchup, toast, applesauce
lunch - tuna and mayo, rice cake, salad, evoo & balsamic vinegar
snack - strawberries, slice of lite cheese
dinner - hamburger,ketchup, cucumber & onion salad
snack - yogurt

lots of water
aware eating
meditation
fork down
seated only
stretches and strengthening
no seconds
taste food
slow eating

Newcreation - great calorie total!

Judy - hooray for smaller jeans...yay WELCOME!

mj - glad you and dh have a special weekend planned

Have a great day, friends.

Beverly Joy, you are right - never give up! I was really going through a tough time weight-wise (gained 7 pounds) so I posted here last weekend my plea for help. It really did help. I am now back on track and feeling good. Lost 2 pounds this week too. Still have three to go to get to my ticker weight.

Well, I did something silly. I went and bought the size 18 jeans even though they are too small. I measured the waist and I figure I need to lose about 3" off my waist to wear them. No idea how many pounds that equates to, maybe 15-20? Anyway, now I have a measurable goal to work towards.

My plan for today:

B - scrambled eggs (1 egg + 2 whites), 1 toast
L - salmon sand on Weight Watchers bread
S - berries and Source vanilla yogurt
D - DQ chicken burger, mini Blizzard

Have a good weekend!

Good Morning! Yesterday was the perfect fall day...warm-ish and sunny! My favorite!!!

Beverlyjoy--Excellent news about dh!!!! How did you do at your friends? Sounds like it was going to be a great time!

Judy--Not silly at all!!!! I have an "inspiration dress". I ordered it thinking it would fit and well.....it's too snug, but I love the dress and it was a bargain, so I kept it. It is hanging on the end of my closet and dh has promised an "extra special date night" once I reach my goal of fitting into the dress.

Last night hubby and I went to our favorite restaurant to celebrate early bdays. I went in "allowing" myself to order whatever I wanted, but to be mindful of portion size. Dinner was fabulous. It was nice to get dressed up and go to a nice restaurant for a change. I brought most of my dinner home (I did pretty good as far as sticking to my "plan" for the night).

Today we are going to start cleaning out around the house so we can take stuff to my grandmother's for her garage sale.

Have a great OP day everyone!

Hi chicks - yesterday was a better food day for me - I am so grateful. I didn't feel 'frantic' around food - that's good. I followed my food plan during the day. We had a wonderful time at our friend's gathering last night. I enjoyed the food I selected, ate slowly, and tried to concentrate on all the people instead of the food. My food wasn't 'perfect' at the party - but - really I am pleased with the result considering how I've been with food the past few days (weeks).

I got to see some folks last night I hadn't seen in 7 years. I love seeing the kids as teenagers and the new children, too. So fun.

I slept 9 hours last night - I am grateful for that. Since my skin stuff - I've been sleeping so poorly. It was wonderful to sleep in a bit. I don't need to sleep in the recliner anymore...my skin is so healed that laying down flat doesn't make my skin hurt any more - YAY. (I think I'll add that to my gratitudes for today!)

breakfast - pnb toast, turkey sausage, strawberries

lunch - egg whites and lite cheese, toast, sliced tomatoes

snack - yogurt, fruit

dinner - pasta, tomato sauce, parm cheese, tossed salad with evoo/balsamic vinegar, toasted olive bread.

snack - rice cake and laughing cow cheese, apple

lots of water
plan/log/measure/count calories
eat seated only
no seconds
fork down between bites
slow down...taste the food
meditation
journal
stretches and strengthening

See Mom later.

Mj - Happy Birthday to you and DH! So glad you were willing to be mindful of portions at your special dinner out.

Judy lyn - two pounds down is wonderful!!!! I think a measure goal is great.

Have a good day folks.
