Unexpected "victory" during shopping trip
 

On the way down, I've been buying clothes at Goodwill shop without trying them on. At $5 or less per item, it's been worth it to me to not face a dressing room.

Well now I've started shopping at retail stores and having absolutely no idea of my current size have had to face the dressing room experience. One thing I've always hated about entering the dressing room is seeing the outfit that I'm currently wearing. I can leave the house thinking I look pretty decent and whammo, the reality of seeing my then obese shape made me hate a reliable outfit in my current wardrobe.

Very cool now that I still like my shopping outfit at the end of shopping excursion!

I've had that experience in the dressing room too - all those mirrors are not helpful at times! I look forward to the same experience one day - it's amazing how all these NSV's just kind of sneak up on you, isn't it?
