Spixiet that is awesome! Doesn't that feel gorgeous!??
I love it! I also hit these little stalls that I don't lose for a couple of weeks. Then the weight loss picks back up again.
The other night my husband came up to hug me...he stopped looked at me and said you are getting dinky. That to me was better than a huge bowl of choc ice cream!!

npaglia - I'd love to make it to 149 by 8/26/2011 (1 year exactly from my starting date), but since I haven't been in that weight range since elementary school, I have no real concept of my body at that weight, or what kind of plateaus I can expect as I approach it. I may find that I'm happy at a higher weight, but 149 is near the high end of a "normal" BMI and a nice round 100 pound loss

Honestly, my real goal is to be able to run for 40 minutes consecutively. In late June, I'm moving to Washingon DC for a year, and I really want to run around the national mall and the other gorgeous monuments on a nearly daily basis. That type of goal is so much more concrete to me than a weight I've never known as an adult ~

awesome spixiet...I def. think it's good to set other goals besides weight and BMI...

go get it girl...!!

one thing you might want to measure your goals by is body fat percentage...I mentioned this in a couple other posts on the forum b/c we get caught up in the weight and BMI but those things don't take into account fat vs. lean tissue...

even if someone weighs in at their target - they may still have an unhealthy body fat percentage...

so that's one of the most important things to focus on...as well as how you feel and look = using those as measurements as well...

what will make you the happiest and healthiest and enable you to live to the max...?

what do you think?
