  • Oh wow, I can't believe how elated I feel right now!

My day started out in the shizzits. I am all bloated and feel like I may finally get my TOM (starting the new diet 2 weeks ago when it was due messed it up) and the scale read 2 1/2 lbs heavier than yesterday. Water weight, blah. Feeling just... gross.

Well, aside from losing 20 lbs, I have lost .75 inches off my neck, 2 inches off my chest, 1.75 inches off my upper arm, 1.75 off my midriff, 1 inch off my thigh and a whopping 7.5 INCHES off my hips, for a grand total of 14.75 inches lost in two weeks! But even better, my blood pressure has gone from 138/83 to 123/63!!! I am absolutely gabberflasted!!!

To make matters even better, now I get to add some things back to my diet, which is most welcome.

It's had to believe I felt so down on myself this morning, because right now I feel SO good about myself. I knew you all would understand, and thank you for letting me share my minor triumph!

    Hugs to all,
    Robin

  • Thanks! I cracked up the nurse who was taking my measurements. I told her that "I am still as big as a barn, but I feel like I've gone from a 4-stall to a three". I sure do have a bit of swagger in my step that was lacking this morning. I like it.
  • Congrats!
  • That is wonderful!!! All that in two weeks??? You go girl!!
  • Awesome! I'm particularly partial to the BP. It's amazing how good weight loss is for our BP. That was one of my biggest goals and I achieved it fairly quickly.
