Diana I do believe that an allergic reaction can cause water retention. Which is horrible, but on the bright side when it is totally gone. You'll have great numbers on the scale, especially knowing that you have totally been OP.
econ good job on your loss
Aimee ... sorry about the soreness. ... for a great weigh in Did you keep those fingers crossed all night for me? hehehe I got rid of that .4 ... 170.0 this morning
Ona congrats on the .4 down, working it out Lady
Angie first congrats on your 1.2 down for YOU And yes that makes plenty of sense. And guess what, I put away the last 7 squares of Pizza Hut Italy pizza last night that the kids had and I wanted to eat the meat off of it so bad. (I didn't) but this morning I took two of those 2.5x2.5 slices and hid them for my lunch today ... I am gonna take them out of hiding and give them to the kids thank you And best of luck to you with staying OP. You can do it
Just in case you all didn't see my comment to Aimee about her
... I made my Labor Day goal of 170lbs this morning on the nose and I am gonna change that ticker whether it sticks or NOT hehehe hoping it does, now I'd like to be 169 by Monday that would be wonderful. Think I'm asking for too much???
Wish me luck today! I have to sit for formal portraits at work today (for the website) and I HATE having my picture taken at this weight, not mention I have the first zit on my nose I've since I was a teen. I am already telling myself that no matter how much I hate have my picture taken, going and eating something afterward WILL NOT make me feel better.
Also, tonight is a big family dinner, Pre-Thanksgiving Dinner, to use up a Turkey Gran still has in her freezer form last year. But I WILL stay On Plan and eat reasonable portions because it's not like we won't have another Thanksgiving in November. Yes, I will stay on plan!
Diana - you definitely will be retaining water with allergic reactions. Give it a few days. I like to compare our bodies to bath tubs, when you overflow your tub, your body has a reaction. Give your tub time to drain and all will be better (I should live in a bubble with everything I'm allergic to!)
Aimee - My hubs and I have friends in Alaska. She is trying to convince me to move there. We will see
down .4 today to 256.2. I'm good with that. I would love to continually see .4 drops daily. TOM is due any day now though, so no big hopes there.
Think it would be weird if I took my scale on the trip with me? ROFL
Star best of luck to you with the portraits though I'm sure you'll do fine Great job on the .3 down, you've got the right attitude to stay OP, You can do it
Wow Hannah 1.6 down great job
Matilda
Thanks Diana ... Maybe I'll go out and get a healthy pizza that will last me through the weekend that's a plan
Shylah congrats on the .4 down and no it's not weird, believe me when we go I will have mine and my laptop too
It's been a brutal morning over here. An argument with MIL and then a petty argument with Hubby. There's just too much going on in this house right now and I think everyone is just spent. I know I am... The basement was just in such brutal condition when we got it back and we definitely didn't plan on spending that much money on fixing it up, but it needed it. And the wedding is starting to sneak up on everyone, argh! I'm so frustrated.
Anyway, my WI this morning bounced between a couple of numbers, so I'm taking the highest, which was 196.6 (though I wish I could take the lowest at 195.9 - that would have been a new low). Even with the highest it's a 1.1 drop... surprising because I had too much sodium yesterday. Still trying to flush it out, hope this decline continues.
I don't know why I am bothering to weigh in, I am not even going to be OP for another 2 weeks, but I guess it makes me feel better. IDK. Not that I am totally sabotaging my diet, but I am not exercising and am not counting points.(I am doing weight watchers) I am doing portion control and somewhat watching what I am eating(hee hee).

Diana, a couple of months ago, I had a weight gain/stall. I couldn't figure out what it was, but I kept getting horrific stomach aches. I finally tracked it down to all the avocado I had been eating - and a main symptom of avocado allergy is horrible stomache cramping. The last time I ate it, I even got that tingly, cotton mouthy reaction that people aften get when they're allergic. I'm going forward with the assumption that I can't have avocado . But my point is, as SOON as I cut it out, within a couple of days, my weight started falling off again. I don't know if it was water retention, or if my body was just feeling so traumatized that it was hanging on to every oz it could, but it really seemed to make a difference to get the allergen out of my system. Allergies do weird things to your body!
