I bought a cute shirt a couple months ago. I didn't try it on before I left the store with it....big mistake. It buttoned, but I had big gaps between the buttons in the chest area. I wore that shirt to work today...no gaps! Woohoo!
Then I saw a lady I used to work with and the first thing she says to me is "I had gastric bypass...I've lost almost 25 lbs in a month and a half." I congratulated her...but in the back of my mind I was thinking "I've lost almost 20 lbs in the same amount of time." I was really proud of me.
