End of Week 1...
 

Today ends Week 1. According to the scale, I lost 7.2 lbs. I know not to expect that every week...but it was nice for a start.

Also, my husband came home today. He has been out of town. I find it harder to eat healthy when he's home. On the phone the other night, I was telling him that we need to eat better and that I'm counting calories (again). He brought me home 3 books - one was an Eat This, Not That book, one had calorie counts for fast food and restaurant items and one was calorie counts and portion sizes for just about everything. I thought that was pretty sweet and supportive of him.

After all the tales of unsupportive spouses, it's wonderful to read about your guy who actually HEARD you, and bought you some books to help you with your journey! Congratulations to you on your hard work, and kudos to your man for being a supportive partner. :)
