I am grateful that I managed to get my bed sorted out.

I am grateful for this thread that made me think - and made me realize that if the thing about the bed is the only good thing to spring to mind, then I need to try harder to look for life's positives.

It is a cloudy and gloomy day...time to bring out the dancing bunnies to remind me there will be sun again and without rain there wouldn't be flowers or green grass
choices I made yesterday regarding food
dh, he is the BEST
my creativity is blooming
good nights rest

Thanks friends for missing me! I missed you too. I take a laptop with me when traveling, but it can be hard to find the time to check in. It is surprising how often I think of my 3FC friends in RL.

Today I am grateful for:

- Time spent with loved ones
- Confidence that I can get back on track after getting off this weekend. The belief that I "couldn't eat healthy or lose weight" stopped me from doing either of those for many years. The old saying "can't never could" is true.
- Wanting and looking forward to my good food now. Steamed squash and onions for supper tonight is something to think about today when the vending machine is calling.
- Air conditioning
- Family, friends, 3FC, indoor plumbing, cell phone, Internet

- My plans took a few twists and turns but I stayed in my calorie range yesterday - always grateful for that

- DH negotiated a 'good deal' for my stepmom's new car. She's 85 and always wanted a red one - better later in life than never! She's thrilled. So fun.

- air conditioning and ceiling fans

- folks that care about me

- family, friends, 3fc, internet, facebook, cell phone

I am grateful for:
- this thread although I don't always remember to post on it
- my good health - I listen to the moaners down at the diner a lot
- my Soccer Girls are well on their way to Sweden and are keeping in touch! I think the last part is the most important as 15 year old girls............
- yellow cherry tomatoes. How can one wee plant in a pot produce so much?
- a spray bottle of water which sure works to cool me down in this heat
- my dogs who teach me how to relax

Rosinante - Hang in there! It is good to look for everything we have to be grateful for.

Today:

- Air conditioning (temps over 100 degrees this week)
- I tolerate the heat so much better than years past
- My early meeting off campus so I get to leave home late
- Good food of which I have plenty
- Walk Away the Pounds DVDs which lets me exercise in the air conditioning
- Family, friends, 3FC, indoor plumbing, cell phone, Internet
