Soooo, I have been rummaging through the tubs in my closet and found some shorts I bought at Lane Bryant about 10 years ago. They are 18/20's and I haven't been able to wear them for at least 4 years. I put them on today and there isn't even a muffin top!!! Granted they are stretchy, but also they are not stretched to the limit! They are comfortable. Then I started looking through my shoe boxes and found an old pair of low heel (not flat) thong sandals that I also haven't worn in at least four years and I am wearing those with the shorts and a shirt that is no longer *too tight.* What a difference 20 pounds can make! I am so excited - I might even put on makeup today!

Now to get the other size 18's in my closet to fit. 5-10 more pounds should do it!!

Congrats to you! Hard work does pay off...when I got back into my favorite pair of jeans, I cried...literally....as soon as they zipped up!

I'm so proud of you! Just wait until they get too big...that will come sooner than you think!

A few months ago I bought a pair of the cutest skinny jeans on sale for $5.00, but they only had a size 12 (I'm currently size 18). I bought them anyway and anytime I feel frustrated, I look at those jeans and think how awesome I'm going to look when I finally fit into them. I'm getting closer all the time.

Good for you for such an accomplishment! I'll think of you when I get into those skinny jeans.
