OMG yesterday I spent the whole day at field day with my second grader. I did all the silly games that the kids did. All his friends were like "Kevin your mom is soooo cool." I even did the limbo. (WITHOUT falling on my rear)

I had sooo much fun. Last year when I went I just stood around and talked to other parents. THIS YEAR... I am the cool mom! I ran the 50 yard dash and kept up with my kid. (which is a total jock-plays on the all-star team)

AND the VERY best thing is I wasn't sore this morning! I just got up ate breakfast and headed to the gym. HOT DOG I feel great! This is really working!!!:carrot::carrot::carrot:

Fantastic!! One of my best rewards for all of this is being more active with my family, too! Yay for no longer being the "mom on the sidelines!"
