Because I don't want to put my kids in the position I'm in. 32 and running to the ER on a far too frequent basis to tend to parents in failing health due in large part to their poor lifestyle/eating/exercise choices.

*They're elderly to begin with. Mom is 67 and dad's 73, but there are ladies in their 70s at my gym who can out lift and out cardio effort me any day of the week.*
