New Territory, misc!

  • This morning was my lowest weight ever . After having been up for a couple of weeks I've finally entered into new ground. I've made up for some bad days and now the plan is to keep going. The weight now stands at 213.6 pounds.

    Now for misc. stuff:

    1) In the previous month I've lowered my body fat percentage from 19.7% to 18.5%. My eventual goal is to have that somewhere between 12-15%.

    2) I had to work today for a big meeting on Monday and I ended up going to my usual lunch place. One of the girls that works there said "you've lost a lot of weight, you are really skinny now!". I'm not really skinny, but it was nice.

    3) Tomorrow I'm walking 20 miles in a charity event. Its called the "walk for hunger". I've convinced 4 other friends to join me. We are starting at 7am and hope to finish sometime in the early afternoon. My feet might be a bit sore for the meeting on Monday . This will be a good training walk for the 60 mile event taking place later this summer.
  • Matt - you are in VFT (virgin fat territory!) - that's fantastic.

1 - your body fat percentage is going down too!!

2 - so nice to have someone say you are skinny!!

3 - kudos for signing up for the hunger walk - and bringing along friends too.

    So many great things.

Your ten day challenge went well.
  • You are AMAZING!!

OOPS - meant to say VWT (Virgin Weight Territory), Matt.
  • Those are a lot of victories! Congratulations!!
  • Whooo, Whooo!! Way to go!
  • Wow! So many terrific things, and how about being known as "skinny"! Good luck on your walk and enjoy it!
  • Dear *Skinny*,

There is just no stopping you!!!

  • awesome news!
  • Woohoo! That is awesome dear!!! You seriously rocked it with your 10 day challenge and it's no surprise that you are in new weight territory now... keep it up!
  • Amazing and awesome as always! WTG!

Good luck on your walk. Sometimes I think stamina is just as difficult to train for as speed. I am sure it will help you for your 3 day walk.
  • That is incredible Matt!! I wish they had WALKS like that here - most of them are runs and I know I can run that far! lol I could walk that far though!
  • congrats on the new territory and all the positives you've got going on!
  • Meant to post before, but *thumbs up* on all your progress and milestones. Also, I have total bodyfat envy! Keep up the good work.
  • Good job getting back on track, I'm with you there - I had a bad end of March and beginning of April, but I'm sitting at a new low now and plan to just keep plugging. I told myself and my hubby that if I can not "cheat" until June 1, then I get 1 really good cheat that day.

Your bf% is looking good too, congrats. I too wish there were more charity walk events around here. Hubby and I plan to settle near Portland when he retires from the AF, I can't wait because they have so many more events like that than we do here.

I hope the walk went well and that you aren't too sore today.
